Reginald Berkeley
See Reginald Berkeley for my proposal to merge the two articles as I am certain that Reginald Berkeley (politician) and Reginald Berkeley (writer) are the same person, as confirmed by the obituary of Captain Reginald Berleley in The Times of 1 April 1935 page 9, which refers to his plays and also to his career as an MP (presumably not an April Fools Day hoax!). - Thanks for the new navbox eg Category:Alaska elections, 2010. which can I see be adjusted to various spacings eg every two years (even years) for most US state (and national) elections, but occasionally for a special or local election an odd year eg Category:Alabama elections, 2009. Category:World War II internment camps in the United States
Hi there - I'm puzzling over Category:World War II internment camps in the United States, which you recently created. Do you know of any such facilities that don't fall under Category:Japanese-American internment camps?? (which is the only content of your new category) There were, of course, a bunch of POW camps -- but they're all in Category:World War II prisoner of war camps in the United States. - The article German American internment says that German aliens from the USA and Latin America (but not German-Americans??) were interned in WWII, though not on the scale of Japanese internment. The camps mentioned include Federal_Correctional_Institution, Seagoville, Camp Blanding, Fort Lincoln Internment Camp and Camp Forrest. I suppose there may have been some Italian aliens and Allied citizens with Nazi/Fascist sympathies interned too (Ezra Pound, but not in USA??), though do not know where. - Thanks for your reply. I started off by taking a look at Fort Lincoln Internment Camp, which claimed that it was used for German POWs. But I didn't trust what it said, which turned out to be sloppy misreporting of the main source for the article (they were actually enemy aliens) -- so I wound up rewriting most of it! Anyway, I was able to determine that it does belong in Category:World War II internment camps in the United States, so my initial concern about the purpose of the category has been addressed. Quirky things about MPs
I recall you talking about a proposed page covering quirky things about MPs. I take it you have a source for these things, or are you collecting these facts as you come across it? I wonder whether you can confirm that Arthur Rhodes was indeed the first New Zealand-born person to be elected to the House of Representatives? John Sheehan was the first New Zealand-born Pakeha elected to the NZ House of Representatives (& also Cabinet Minister). He represented the Rodney & Thames Electorates in the 1870s & 1880s well before Arthur Rhodes went to Parliament. There is an interesting page: "List of Political Families" by Country. The Rhodes Family of New Zealand could be called a political dynasty with four Members of the NZ Parliament in the 19th Century. Others are Ormond/Wilson & Wakefield/Stafford. A page on the longest serving NZ Members of the Parliament would be another interesting list (rather than Father of the House). - Hi, I've just removed the remaining Sept 3 CfD tags from the nominated categories, as this was overlooked. I agree with BHG that you had some good ideas, and would encourage you to press on, e.g. manually splitting the "oil and gas pipelines in Foo" into separate sub-categories, and then renaming those existing mixed cats as "Pipelines in Foo". I've done some other changes that you suggested like including tankers in Fuels infrastructure.
- I also noticed that when you tagged the categories for deletion, all your edits were marked as minor. Presumably you have that switched on as an override. Please watch out for that, and untick it on non-minor edits. – Fayenatic London 16:55, 28 September 2012 (UTC)

Capital punishment in New Zealand

It selects from existing categories; can be used to set sort keys as well; is very quick for single changes; and can do multiple changes in a single edit. Greetings from Kelburn!! Saw this edit; I don't think that U.S. military unit category belongs at all. It's WP:RECENTIST if limited as it is at the moment, and completely unmanageable (thousands of articles) if it is comprehensive, plus it duplicates the by-war categories. Regarding Template:Oceania topic
List of football clubs in Australia is a disambiguation page, to which links are improper. My edit to the template was necessary to allow the template to call the correct article - the kind of "football" club being related in that template. Hi, this is a superfluous category. The article you are recategorising should be placed in Category:English cricket seasons from 1969 to 2000 per the WP:CRIC standard. Can you please comply with standards on categorisation as you are creating unnecessary interim categories that, like this one, contain only one article. Further, if you are going to create season categories like this you have to do the job properly and go all the way back to 1725. But it is completely unnecessary because the CRIC standard already caters for what you are trying to do. I created these categories to go with other existing subcategories in the 1945 to 2000 period which I had proposed for renaming, eg from Category:1966 English cricket season to Category:1966 in English cricket (not as an "interim" measure).
