This just show that you need to prove your point with hard evidence before you block some one.Hereford 00:03, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
- Can you explain to me how/why your userpages were nearly identical, you have Category:Wikipedians with alternate accounts on your userpage, and the Frogger account was editing subpages in your userspace? - Rjd0060 (talk) 00:40, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- Our user pages are completely different and i have no knowledge of him editing my sub-pages.Hereford 00:43, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- And i had Category:Wikipedians with alternate accounts for my public account (User:Hereford Public) which was stated on User:Hereford/me which where both deleted.Hereford 00:45, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- Well, when I said 'nearly identical' I wasn't being very accurate. If you take a look at this and this there are a couple of similarities. Also, Frogger has edited a number of subpages in your userspace, namely User talk:Hereford/Vand, User:Hereford/Vand/Archive 2 and User:Hereford/Vand. Possibly others. If it turns out you are two separate people, I apologize. I am going to get another opinion on this so please be patient with me. - Rjd0060 (talk) 00:50, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- Those pages where made for people to make vandalism and was open to anyone to edit.Hereford 00:52, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- Why are you making pages like that, just out of curiosity... ++Lar: t/c 01:05, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- Because its fun.Hereford 01:07, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- It also gives people pause. Rjd0600 came to an erroneous, but reasonable conclusion. Only after I ran a check did he decide that perhaps you and Frogger are not the same person and has given you the benefit of the doubt. Use it wisely. ++Lar: t/c 01:15, 14 October 2008 (UTC)

- And those user-pages look nothing alike. How did you get this past WP:ANI. Hereford 00:54, 14 October 2008 (UTC).

Subpages
I've restored the subpages. Somebody else has already given you the userrights back. If you have any other problems, feel free to let me know. - Rjd0060 (talk) 04:09, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
- I've also restored a bunch of other ones deleted for the same reason. See here. If I've missed any, leave me a note. - Rjd0060 (talk) 04:19, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
Redirect of User:Hereford/news
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on User:Hereford/news, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because User:Hereford/news is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting User:Hereford/news, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot (talk) 18:58, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
Straw poll
The Main Page Redesign proposal is currently conducting a straw poll in selecting five proposals before an RFC in which it will be against the current main page. You're input would be appreciated. ChyranandChloe (talk) 04:03, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:The Sims 3 logo.png)
Thanks for uploading Image:The Sims 3 logo.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:20, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
Mediation Committee nomination unsuccessful
Per the two oppose rule, your nomination to become a member of the Mediation Committee has been closed as unsuccessful. Please note that the Committee has a policy which means that a user cannot reapply within three months of their last unsuccessful nomination. However, we recommend that you take this opportunity to use the comments made at your nomination to improve yourself not only as a potential mediator, but as an editor of Wikipedia in general. I would encourage you to look to the Mediation Cabal as a medium for gaining experience in mediating and for contributing through mediation, and also invite you to contact me or any other Committee member if you have any questions.
Thanks again for your interest.
For the Mediation Committee,

Thankyou for your time. Threat? :-?
First thankyou for your time and efforts. You don't have to do it but you do. :-)
I have responded on the page for you. The just of my response is that the "threat" as you think it could seriously be construed as would only be such if I was the president of Russia. (This is the net I suppose I could be. If I am then what am I doing here?)--Hfarmer (talk) 00:22, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
Email notification
Hello Hereford/Archive 6, Jokestress has e-mailed you. |
Jokestress (talk) 16:30, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
Thanks again for mediating this. On Talk:Homosexual_transsexual, there is a notice at the top. Can you close that out and make it part of the page history? Thank you! Jokestress (talk) 20:56, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
DCEETA mediation
Do you anticipate this going any further at the moment? Given the unwillingness to engage with either any of the issues on the talk page of the article, and the persistent personal attacks, I'm unconvinced that it has much mileage. I'm now considering the best options for next steps, including questioning the notability of the subject.
ALR (talk) 18:04, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
Thankyou for volunteering to take on the mediation around this topic, unfortunately it's very clear that it hasn't served the purpose that it was intended to. I'm fairly concerned that you opted not to challenge Dogue on his comments, indeed it looks as if the request was treated more as an RFC than a mediation case. Notwithstanding that I'll move on and try to find an alternative approach.

License tagging for Image:Glava.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Glava.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 02:07, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
Mediation
Thanks for taking on the mediation.
I would like however to courteously ask you not to jump to conclusions, but to appropriately to consider all points. Also, I am also worried about a mediator promoting compromise for compromise sake, when that still results in inappropriate treatment of the subject.
Thanks for your help.
I have one further point, which will help me understand from where you are coming from; namely how much do you know about railway history? I do not wish to be patronising, I just need to understand your experience.
Thanks once again Tony May (talk) 19:31, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- Again, I would strongly suggest that in order to mediate properly you take a step back and please do not jump to conclusions. I have summarised my explanation at User:Tony May/A1, and I copy it below. I apologise for its length, but there are several that I would like to make. Tony May (talk) 21:20, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

A1 Class
Please see the article's talk page. I've given my view of where the article needs improvement, and urged Tony May, MickMacNee and Biscuittin to work together on the article, improving it in the areas that they agree on, and suggested a way on how to achieve consensus on the area that they disagree on. So far, Biscuittin has shown the most positive response. MickMacNee and Tony May are still entrenched in their POVs. IMHO, this dispute is overdue for RFC, but I don't see the point of doing that while the informal mediation process is still open. If the three of them would only start talking to each other instead of shouting at each other progress could be made. Mjroots (talk) 22:27, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
fair use images in templates
In this edit you added File:Ford Motor Company Logo.svg to the template. WP:NFCC forbids the use of non-free content on templates, or any other non-mainspace page. I've removed the logo. --Hammersoft (talk) 00:19, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
