Wikipedia beginners wanted for user testing
[edit]Wikimedia Deutschland is looking for beginner editors for user testing! We are working on some changes that may affect the editing experience, and we want to make sure that our changes don't make things more difficult for beginners. If you made less than 100 edits, we would love to hear from you! More information and a signup: https://greatquestion.co/wikimediadeutschland/4oADuQpx/apply. --Johannes Richter (WMDE) (talk) 10:18, 19 September 2024 (UTC) PS: This is a one-time message to selected beginner editors. You won't get any further notifications if you're not interested.
- Hello - I am unsure if I want to participate in having myself/actions recorded but will give it consideration. HelenaBertrand (talk) 14:21, 19 September 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks! You can read our privacy policy here. We need to do a screen recording to see the user behavior in Wikipedia and an audio recording to hear users commenting on their test szenario. Only authorized (and NDA-signed) employees of Wikimedia Deutschland are allowed to view the recordings. The audio will be transcribed and all personal details of our notes and transcripts removed (pseudonymisation). We'll delete the recordings once they are no longer needed for our research, latest 6 months after the research session. Per GDPR Article 17 you can of course always request deletion at an earlier point if you decide so at a later point. Johannes Richter (WMDE) (talk) 10:09, 20 September 2024 (UTC)
A cup of coffee for you!
[edit]Be bold while requesting edits to be made and don't worry about coming off as terse :) The AP (talk) 14:31, 26 November 2024 (UTC) |
