Using Wikipedia for promotion

[edit]

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. JamesBWatson (talk) 14:52, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Regenerative catalytic oxidiser and to CTP, you will be blocked from editing. JamesBWatson (talk) 15:54, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Fixed bed adsorber has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Appears to be promotion of a non-notable possible invention; almost no context or explanation.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi. I'm afraid that Wikipedia cannot accept text that has been previously published elsewhere unless it is public domain or compatibly licensed for our use. See Wikipedia:Copyrights. Even if you are affiliated with the source, you must verify that the content is free for reuse either by releasing it at the source or sending a licensing release to the Wikimedia Foundation. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. Material from [1] has already been removed from the article for copyright concerns. I have removed more recent additions as these, too, were obviously copied from somewhere else. If you have questions about the copyright policy or the verification procedure, please let me know at my talk page. You can reach it by clicking the link after my username that says "talk". --Moonriddengirl (talk) 15:11, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Using Wikipedia for promotion (again)

[edit]

Please stop. If you continue to add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Regenerative thermal oxidizer, you will be blocked from editing. You have been warned about this more than once before. JamesBWatson (talk) 14:33, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
