[edit]Hi Hanson Wu! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Remsense ‥ 论 21:13, 8 October 2024 (UTC)
Dwight D. Eisenhower
[edit]Hi Hanson Wu! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of an article several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Bruce leverett (talk) 05:04, 16 November 2024 (UTC)
The relevant discussion on the talk page is Talk:Dwight D. Eisenhower#First sentence. You are expected to read it, and you are encouraged to contribute to the discussion. Bruce leverett (talk) 05:06, 16 November 2024 (UTC)

- Please come to ANI to discuss your editing. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 09:28, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
- There seems to be this insistence with using the term "statesman" while in many cases having disdain for "politician", even though the latter is simply a descriptive, accurate term and not some derogatory label. The problem here is trying to repeat the same edits by force rather than bringing it up to a discussion somewhere.
- Adding this comment as a response here since the ANI page is protected at this time. 2600:1012:A021:2117:EDF1:658C:2D80:2FF1 (talk) 18:45, 23 November 2024 (UTC)

. The Bushranger One ping only 03:07, 27 November 2024 (UTC)- As you chose to continue your disruptive editing by evading your block as an IP editor, your block has been extended to indefinite. - The Bushranger One ping only 23:27, 28 November 2024 (UTC)
- @The Bushranger: Wouldn't the user just continue to use the IP after the 31 hour block? 2600:100B:B03D:43D6:E07C:D723:C6D6:C32A (talk) 00:15, 29 November 2024 (UTC)
