Welcome!
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

- How to edit a page
- Editing tutorial
- Picture tutorial

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! [edit]Please refrain from adding, removing or changing genres, as you did to Minority Report (film), without providing a source or establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 03:20, 14 December 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Snowpiercer (TV series), did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. The series is canceled on TNT and is being shopped elsewhere which is reliably sourced. Being shopped is not a guarantee that it will air in another network. — YoungForever(talk) 05:39, 15 January 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at 18 Months. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. "We Found Love" was NOT promoted as a single from 18 Months. Just because a song is included on an album, doesn't necessarily mean it's a single from said album. snapsnap (talk) 03:36, 6 October 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. —Cryptic 18:01, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for February 17
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Joe Biden 2024 presidential campaign primary endorsements, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jack Reed. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 18:07, 17 February 2024 (UTC)
Edit Warring at Where is Kate?
[edit]Hi there, I notice that you have been repeatedly putting material back to the way you think it should be on the above article, despite it being repeatedly reverted by multiple editors Here are your attempts: [1][2][3][4]. Please note that it is important to gain consensus before re-asserting a reverted edit, per Wikipedia policy (see WP:ONUS) and that continually putting information back without gaining or even attempting to gain consensus is edit warring. Repeated edit warring could lead to a block for from editing. Please use an article's talk page to discuss your change. Thanks. Sirfurboy🏄 (talk) 08:38, 2 April 2024 (UTC)
Get Lucky (Daft Punk song)
[edit]Regarding your recent edit to the article, please keep in mind that an official music video was never released for the song "Get Lucky". The closest thing would be the "Official Audio". Various fan-made video edits have been uploaded to YouTube that are not official, and thus not appropriate for the infobox of the "Get Lucky" article. If you have any concerns, feel free to discuss in the "Get Lucky" talk page. jhsounds (talk) 02:05, 9 April 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (film). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Adding an empty section to an article is not an improvement. DonIago (talk) 16:22, 13 May 2024 (UTC)

Empty sections
[edit]Please stop adding empty sections as you did at History of Iran & Iran–Israel relations. It's not helpful. Masterhatch (talk) 03:40, 12 June 2024 (UTC)

Uninformed
[edit]Hafizh must be a very uniformed, uneducated person and he/she/it is one of the reasons I do not donate to Wiki anymore. Kamala Harris Is NOT the 49th vice President of the USA. Rosemaryk410 (talk) 11:59, 24 October 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Hafizh Iskandar! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at John_Fetterman that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. BBQboffingrill me 01:50, 14 November 2024 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at John_Fetterman, you may be blocked from editing. Also not a minor edit. Please review our policies. BBQboffingrill me 06:41, 26 November 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
