Kumika Kurata (Born October 11, 1992) is a Jpop/pop/other singer who debuted in 2008. Kumika is known for expressing her feelings through her music. She started off at the age of 5 singing and doing music video for kids to learn the language. She then stopped singing and dancing due to personal issues, and started again in 2008 and she is still going strong.
Biography
[edit]Kumika was born in Japan. Since she was five years old she always wanted to sing using her feelings, and that's when she was discovered by a producer that said she had the voice and moves. She was immediately trained and taught to sing and dance for music videos, and soon she was a star. She went to a private school for girls for elementary, and middle school. Then came to the US and went to a public school.
Debut Single
[edit]Her debut single, "The Beginning" was her first single at the record company. She wrote her own lyrics and helped out write other singers lyrics. Her #1 song "Say Goodbye", and her #2 song "Lost Words" were songs that was written for someone, who was close to her. That made it hit the chart. One of her songs were used in an Anime "I sing for you".
