Re:DK Game & Watch games
Hey, thanks a bunch -- but before I enter the games, do you think I should keep the Game & Watch games in one table, or should I move the games to make a separate entry for each? Either way, I think the DK and DK Jr. Game & Watch games can be added to the release information. I'll see if I can do it tonight, and if not, I'll obviously take care of it tomorrow. Thanks for the help. -- Nomader (Talk) 04:16, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- Hrm.... haha, this is a problem. We could use the release dates information (the part which says "GameCube – 2002" and such) to list out all the LCD games, but it might take up a significant amount of space. -- Nomader (Talk) 04:27, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- I'll just keep those exclusive ones in the current Game and Watch table I have, and I'll make a note of the other DK releases while adding them to their respective arcade games. In your case, I guess if the virtual reality game was just a modified version of the LCD, I'd list it as a re-release in the table (i.e. below "2002 – GameCube" and what not). But if you figure that it's a separate release, it needs its own table. -- Nomader (Talk) 04:46, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- Oh junk -- I just noticed two arcade games that I hadn't listed in the DK list... here. I'm not sure if one of the sources is reliable -- better get to work. -- Nomader (Talk) 04:47, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
Bubbles GAN
Just a quick shout, started a review for the article. Only holdup I have with it is how the prose is structured, comes across as a little choppy. If that's fixed though you should be good to go.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 05:51, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- Alright, went ahead and passed it. Just leaves 12 GANs left. o_o'--Kung Fu Man (talk) 17:26, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Requesting your Asssistance
Hey, Guy. My two current FLCs, List of Donkey Kong games (Nomination) and List of Wario video games (Nomination) are almost completely finished, except they both have one problem; they have periods in the wrong place. Apparently, I'm not too good with judging what's a complete sentence and what's a sentence fragment. I'm not sure how you are at doing it, but I was wondering if you could take a glance through both articles and enter and remove periods per your discretion? It's busy work, so you don't have to do it if you don't want to, but either way it's appreciated. -- Nomader (Talk) 16:05, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
- Alright, cheers, you're a lifesaver. -- Nomader (Talk) 17:02, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
- Hey, it wasn't a problem. It was a really minor issue, so I figure I'd just take care of it for you. It was the least I could do for you after you found all those Game & Watch sources for me and copyedited both of my FLCs. -- Nomader (Talk) 17:01, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay
Hey GiB, I'm peer reviewing The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay and could you see if there's problems to it? Vantine worked with me on it and he's shockingly not on that much. And your a professional of being a Wikipedian. So, please peer review this. Thanks in advance. GamerPro64 (talk) 01:48, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- Again, thanks. I just hope Vantine will help me again. He worked on it also. GamerPro64 (talk) 14:41, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Not trying to rush you or anything but when are you going to review Riddick on its peer review? GamerPro64 (talk) 21:07, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
- Hey man. Thanks for reviewing Escape from Butcher Bay. I hope I'll get all of it done. And again thanks. GamerPro64 (talk) 01:30, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
Re:Zelda Game List
Sure, not a problem – I looked it over and it seems you've done most of the heavy listing (the templates and the release dates). I'll fill in the holes left over and I'll let you know when I've finished. I'll be gone for a few days coming up though, so it might take me more than a week to finish if that's alright. -- Nomader (Talk) 02:20, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- I'm sorry I've done so little, but I'm leaving in a few hours and won't have access to a computer until late Monday; I did a little bit of work and I started to tweak the lead a bit, but I haven't gotten very far. I'll let you know once I'm back. -- Nomader (Talk) 06:02, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
- I was starting to work on the list's release dates when I noticed something: the release dates use a separate Template:Vgrelease for each region instead of just using one template for all of them like I've been doing in my other lists. I guess I should redo all the dates in the list? -- Nomader (Talk) 03:38, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
- Alright, then I'll leave it be. No need to cause extra work. :-) -- Nomader (Talk) 17:04, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

You just saved me quite a bit of time– I won't be able to add it this morning because I'm going out, but when I get back tonight I'll go ahead and source the mangas in the list. Thanks a bunch, I really appreciate it. -- Nomader (Talk) 15:28, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
- I added a couple lines from the Anime News Network, but much of the information I couldn't use because it was part of the user-written encyclopedia. Either way, I'll keep looking for more sources for other comics. Do we know where we can find a reliable source for the soundtracks? We may have to ask some WikiProjects, like the Anime, Film, TV, and music ones. -- Nomader (Talk) 22:50, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
- I checked and they talk about their editorial policy on their "About Us" page– it seems to meet the requirements at WP:RS. I did a search at the site and a number of soundtracks came up so it should work for references. I may not get a chance to add anything though in the next week or so; I'm moving into my dorm at college, so I won't be active for obvious reasons. -- Nomader (Talk) 16:44, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
- Alright, thanks– I'll see if I can add anything once I've moved in. -- Nomader (Talk) 16:50, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

That sounds like a good idea, plowing through the thing is a pain in the butt in some parts, and reception's going to be the biggest part of the whole shabang I just know it.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 14:40, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Dempsey roll
An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Dempsey roll. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dempsey roll. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:12, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
VG review template
Are you satisfied enough to move it out of the sandbox? There hasn't been any comments in about a week.陣内Jinnai 01:39, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
- Not that I can think of offhand. However, as few others have mentioned usage for it in some articles, I think moving it to a vg template rather than user template is for the best.陣内Jinnai 21:17, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
- As it's intention currently is for series (who's games are not notable enough for their own article) or remakes...Multiple Video games reviews....meh...doesn't sound good and easily searchable.陣内Jinnai 21:32, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
- That doesn't really go with remakes then. I know it's just a title, but titles do have meaning, especially when they are new. VG series and remake reviews (with some very short wikilink to that)陣内Jinnai 21:49, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
- Looks pretty good overall. The talk page should say it's vg game template. We should have an easy acronym for it as that can be quite long.陣内Jinnai 02:35, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
- Guess at this point VGSMR, VG:SMR or VG SMR are fine.陣内Jinnai 22:11, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

Unsolicited suggestion/Thanyou
I must thankyou for the advice you have given me, I am now going to stop createing articles and stubs for the of my project, I hope the alternative of describing stub sized descriptions of concurrent games will be much less controversial then my previous strategery. Also I am planning on createing more detailed articles, infact I'll let you into a secret, I've proposed a future project involveing console launches, which will contain vastly more detailed alliances then the concurrent project. mcjakeqcool 14:44, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Reverting vandalism
Thank you for reverting vandalism at Vagrant Story but try to be careful to revert all consecutive vandalism edits by a vandal. Other users seeing the page history may assume all vandalism was removed and not check each version. In [1] you reverted the first 2 of 4 consecutive section removals by 98.198.187.25. The last 2 were fixed later by others. You can click on a version in the page history and save it to revert all edits since then. See Help:Reverting. You can also request rollback at Wikipedia:Requests for permissions. Rollback enables you to revert all the latest consecutive edits to a page by an IP or user with a single click. Ran across this in issue 3 of Retro Gamer, page number's present so it should be easy to cite if you can use it or whatever, just noticed it wasn't cited in the article. Hope it helps!--Kung Fu Man (talk) 03:59, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
- Not a problem. I actually have issues 1-55 of Retro Gamer as EBooks, so if you want a particular issue down the pike gimme a shout and I'll toss it over. Btw, good to see you back, where the heck have you been?--Kung Fu Man (talk) 15:10, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
Hey oh, Gib. Just wanted to know if you found those magazines for I, Robot. I'm just starting on its lead and googling it. Please for me your response. GamerPro64 (talk) 02:52, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

*Sigh*
Since your article, Q*bert, is an A-class nom and I'm reviewing all A noms, I was going to tell you that. But on your front page, you said, quote, "the smaller number of registered and anonymous editors on those pages is less stressful to work with than more contemporary games." Is that about me and should I take it as a compliment? GamerPro64 (talk) 19:07, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

- Hey oh Gib. Do you know where there is good reception to I, Robot? I may add to the leads third paragraph and (obiously) the Reception and legacy section. GamerPro64 (talk) 03:21, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
Could use your input over at Super Mario Bros. There's a debate going on regarding the US release date being '85 or '86, and the evaluation of available resources. The actual discussion is here. --Marty Goldberg (talk) 00:13, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
- Just added some references from Kent's book to the discussion, who goes in to a lot of detail. He point blank states 1986 as the release and covers the development of the seperate US version. --Marty Goldberg (talk) 23:00, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
