[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Behaviorology, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Decibert (talk) 01:12, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Behaviorology
[edit]An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Behaviorology. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Behaviorology. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:16, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

Welcome to the Article Rescue Squadron
[edit]
Hi, Greg987, welcome to the Article Rescue Squadron! We are a growing community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to identifying and rescuing articles that have been tagged for deletion. Every day hundreds of articles are deleted, many rightfully so. But many concern notable subjects and are poorly written, ergo fixable and should not be deleted. We try to help these articles quickly improve and address the concerns of why they are proposed for deletion. This covers a lot of ground and your help is appreciated!
If you have any questions, feel free to ask on the talk page, and we will be happy to help you. And once again - Welcome! Javért | Talk 05:22, 8 September 2009 (UTC) |
Behaviorology
[edit]Hi Greg987, I was sorry to see Behaviorology deleted, but I think it has an excellent chance of being permitted to return to mainspace. One thing you can do is have the article admit to ambiguity in the definition of Behaviorology. Also, if you work on some other articles, you'll gain valuable editing experience that you can then use on Behaviorology. Let me know if you have any questions regarding how to find/use sources. Abductive (reasoning) 23:24, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
- I don't know the material well enough to say it is ready for a return to mainspace. You should attempt to find more sources, one for each sentence, especially the ones in the first paragraph. Then invite people from some Wikiproject, perhaps Wikipedia:WikiProject Psychology for a critique. Then ask an admin if it could be moved back into articlespace. DGG would be a good choice for that, since he was skeptical of the original article, but is generally sympathetic to keeping articles. Abductive (reasoning) 05:45, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
