Elementary primality test
[edit]It looks like your additions to the Portuguese prime number article were also reverted. [1] Your mathematical terminology is not good enough for me to understand what you are trying to say but I guess it's either original research which Wikipedia doesn't allow, or it's something trivial not worth mentioning in Prime number. You can however suggest it on the talk page at Talk:Prime number. Please use the "new section" tab if you start a new section on a talk page. PrimeHunter (talk) 19:34, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Anita5192. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Pythagorean triple, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Anita5192 (talk) 18:28, 22 December 2021 (UTC)
I edited on this page because in august 2006 I published it on So Matematica (Brasil) an article on obtaining the Pythagorean triples by Algebraic Geometry and the equations cited are published in the portuguese Wikipedia since 2010. If possible, I would like you to return the publication Gratefull Gonzaga Laier
Hello, Gonzagalaier. We welcome your contributions, but it appears as if your primary purpose on Wikipedia is to add citations to research published by a small group of researchers.
Scientific articles should mainly reference review articles to ensure that the information added is trusted by the scientific community.
Editing in this way is also a violation of the policy against using Wikipedia for promotion and is a form of conflict of interest in Wikipedia – please see WP:SELFCITE and WP:MEDCOI. The editing community considers excessive self-citing to be a form of spamming on Wikipedia (WP:REFSPAM) and the edits will be reviewed and the citations removed where it was not appropriate to add them.
Finally, please be aware that the editing community highly values expert contributors – please see WP:EXPERT. I do hope you will consider contributing more broadly. If you wish to contribute, please first consider citing review articles written by other researchers in your field and which are already highly cited in the literature. If you wish to cite your own research, please start a new thread on the article talk page and add {{requestedit}} to ask a volunteer to review whether or not the citation should be added.

Good Morning Mrs. Anita I appreciate your considerations.
Although I have done the math article for over 15 years and published it on a specific site for math here in Brazil and edited on the Portuguese Wikipedia, only now in the first half of 2022 will I present this article at the University where I graduated almost 50 years in Engeenering. After peer verification at the University and publication I will contact you for possible editing on English Language Wikipedia . This article only envolves elementary school geometry and algebra. With the use of these equations I also got the elementary demonstration of the FLT, and the result is also published in the Portuguese Language Wikipedia. [edit]Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Pythagorean triple. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. - DVdm (talk) 11:18, 20 December 2024 (UTC)
