Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. H - numbers in Martinu article
[edit]I saw you reverted my addition of the H-numbers in Martinu's opus list. The issue here is that not adding zeros to the numbers below 9 plays havoc with Wikipedia's sorting options; if you sort on opus (H) numbers, you end up with first 1, then 11 through 19, then 2, etc. This is not very practical. This seemed like the most elegant solution (even if the formatting does not strictly adhere to code). By the way, the dates are a bit of a mess, as well - also see [1] --Ilja.nieuwland (talk) 08:13, 27 March 2018 (UTC)
- @Ilja.nieuwland: Hi! Thanks, the problem with H number is solved I hope. Details you will find here. You are right, there is a mess in data formats, we are working on it. --Gampe (talk) 15:54, 27 March 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks, great work, didn't know you were working on it, edits had been rare for over a year which is why I got started --Ilja.nieuwland (talk) 09:21, 1 April 2018 (UTC)

- Hello, Gampe,
- This seems like a very awkward title for a category. Maybe the words should be capitalized. Liz Read! Talk! 21:57, 24 August 2022 (UTC)

- @Smasongarrison Hi, this category was created for the upcoming project of the same name, which was to be a collaboration between Wikimedia Czech Republic and ICOM (International Council of Museums). Unfortunately, the project did not start. Feel free to delete the category. Gampe (talk) 06:12, 4 February 2024 (UTC)

Vilma Matulić moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Vilma Matulić. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Joy (talk) 08:12, 12 July 2024 (UTC)
- @Joy @Ivannah Hi, Joy, I don't have very much experience with English-language wikipedia. So any advice would be appreciated. But I disagree with your assessment. Vilma Matulic is the director of the museum under which the UNESCO site Stari Grad Plain falls. She is also a photographer who has documented important archaeological excavations as well as documents about folk customs in Stari Grad. She has provided some of her photographs to Wikimedia projects. In my opinion, she is an important person, at least in the European context. Gampe (talk) 15:54, 12 July 2024 (UTC)
- Please have a look at the notability criteria for articles in general, and for people in general.
- At the time I moved the article back to draft, the references section included:
- an official journal of a town, which is a primary source
- an exhibition poster picture, which lacks depth of coverage
- a website about a gallery that mentions the artist's name and the museum, and talks about the work, but is not even signed so it's hard to assess as a source
- a reference to Fishing And Fishermen's Conversations which does not seem to be about the artist
- Please feel free to improve the references and resubmit the article. --Joy (talk) 10:17, 14 July 2024 (UTC)
