What should we add to the page?

The lead could include information about the discovery of Hawaiian gold coral and its use in its earliest contact with humans. Peer Review

Lead: the lead section is really well written, interesting, and does a great job of briefly setting up the rest of the article.

Growth: Well written, maybe add a bit more about its shape and structure if possible.

Ecological role: This was really interesting! I suggest putting the "species provides an important..." and everything that follows first, then ending with the parasitic barnacle part. This might be a better lead in to their ecological role. Also, if there is more information about the parasitic interaction maybe expand on that.

Habitat: This section seems like it might better fall under a range/distribution header. You could split this up and then add more in this section about the habitat itself such as substrate type, what lives nearby, food, water (murky, clear), light, etc.

Spelling and grammar: All looks good!

Overall thoughts: Neutral tone, well written, well organized, clear structure, reliable sources. It was very interesting to read and my only suggestion is to add more and make sure a single paragraph is not dominated by one source. Annabellebeaton (talk) 16:59, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
