Proposed deletion of David Blaine Street Magic: YouTube Edition
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article David Blaine Street Magic: YouTube Edition, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. Gabriel Ugliano restored
Not that there was a clear indication in the article, but this is a fictional character from the Percy Jackson and the Olympians stories. Cheers, Dlohcierekim 03:43, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

Help!
Hey man, I know your quite active in the 'Chiranjeevi' page and you've probably noticed the user, 'Vasu mi'. He's making the same stupid edit again and again. Could you please alert an admin? I'd do it myself, but i have no clue of how. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Prabhodh (talk • contribs) 06:58, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

Question
Hey GSMR I have a question to ask you. Dont mind and please care to answer. Do you have a real job? Or you just hang around here all the time modifying, reverting edits made by other people to chiranjeevi, balakrishna, etc articles? Seariously dude I am quite surprised the moment somebody makes some changes bang you are there reverting their edits, justifying your stupid changes. I wonder do you even sleep? Man you are the best guardian I have ever seen in my entire life. I appreciate you. Just curious dont take it personal just answer it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.99.19.8 (talk) 22:34, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
Fixed Up Nandamuri Balakrishna
Sorry I was really busy with work and all couldn't reply to you in time. I will try to look over the filmography section but I am afraid I may not be much help as I know mostly about chiranjeevi. Anyways I will try to help. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexander227 (talk • contribs) 22:41, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
Aryan Invasion Theory...
Aryan Invasion theory was not just about the Aryan conquest of the Indian sub-continent. It also has a linguistic component (namely, the out of India theory). Namely, the Aryan conquerors spoke a proto-Indo-European language that was then spread to Europe and beyond, with the word cash being one example. However, the Aryan-Invasion theory has been debunked and now most experts believe, based on Haplogroup F, that proto-Aryans originated from somewhere near central asia and Arabian peninsula, and their language (the proto-Indo-Aryan language), was then transmitted to Europe, South Asia, and other places. Therefore, to say that "cash" was derived from Tamil is anachronistic, since the proto-Aryans did not move to South Asia and then somehow moved west to Europe, bringing with them the proto-Aryan linguistic system.
The Out of India Linguistic theory has been debunked, but only modern-day Indian Nationalists still cling onto it, despite the ample genetic and linguistic evidence to the contrary. Sanskrit and modern Indian languages are daughter languages only. For more information, see Kurgan Hypothesis. —Preceding unsigned comment added by By78 (talk • contribs)
No Thanks...
Just because it's on Wikipedia does not make it true. Anyhow, I am sure the Chinese word for "cash" is not from Tamil. Sorry if that hurts your I-am-really-an-Aryan-German-despite-the-fact-I-am-from-India ego. —Preceding unsigned comment added by By78 (talk • contribs)
Cash...
M-W dictionary:
Cash - Money in coins or notes, as distinct from checks, money orders, or credit...
Origin: 16th-century Old French "Casse" —Preceding unsigned comment added by By78 (talk • contribs)
It is not
The template says: "Place this template at the beginning of the article to warn readers that special rendering additions may be required." Shahid • Talk2me 15:50, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
- Again, it is to warn readers that special rendering additions may be required. Other that that, Wikipedia works for the wide readership, it does not work with preferences. Shahid • Talk2me 17:31, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
Talk page rights
Re, your message, yes, users are allowed to remove warnings from their talk page, check out WP:TALK for further reading. As to admins reading the warnings, admins usually know that users are allowed to do this, and hence, they usually check the history to see if the user had indeed been warned the correct amount of times.— Dædαlus Contribs 20:41, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Hello, GSMR. Would you respond in the above linked topic of this section about why you feel Caucasian needs to be distinguished from White? I already responded there, and am not getting your point...seeing as not distingushing the two has been my experience with all people and both articles make it clear that both terms mostly refer to White European, but may sometimes be used more broadly. Flyer22 (talk) 19:32, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

Congrats
Congrats GSMR, I thought you are an R'Tard dude turns out that you are pretty smart. LOL. You love ntr so much why do you hate chiru dude. Some 67 IP addres fella has deleted chiru's social work paragraph you didn't act but when I called ntr a comedian/retard (doesn't make a difference to me) you jumped on it to fix and then ran to your mama (admin) asking him to block me. Why dude? :) Whatever dude. Looks like you have pretty good connections with admins what kind of services you offer them ;) lol joke dude. Now dont run to them for this too. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.99.19.8 (talk) 21:56, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
Ok
Ok dude you are right. You have reverted the vandalistic edits. But why didn't you bring back the "Philanthropy and Social work" of Chiranjeevi article when somebody deleted it. If you do that I would appreciate you greatly. --209.99.19.8 (talk) 17:14, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
Rollback
I have 1 granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe I can trust you to use rollback correctly by using it for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. –Juliancolton | Talk 16:35, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

By78
Hi There,
I was the one who lodged the original complaint against By78 but unfortunately I have been busy these past few weeks. I have been going through By78's edits. As usual the administrators on Wikipedia wont take action against such vandals but I am keeping a close eye on him. Hopefully if enough people take notice of his disruptive behaviour and report him the administrators will dump out some of the trash. I have managed to fix some of the articles he vandalized including the Indian Road Network article.Vedant (talk) 23:58, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
- Unfortunately he disguises his edits well under captions like "Changed to a better pic" or "removed preachy stuff" but the majority of his edits are anti-India. I'm certainly against triumphalism but I think his claims should be challenged wherever possible with other sources. I do agree with some of his edits and have such have left them alone but I am keeping a close eye on said user.Vedant (talk) 00:23, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
- Addendum: It's obvious he has a bias (as you said, just google the word Eendiah). Obviously one cannot take administrative action against him solely on the basis of this but to me it seems like a pretty strong indication of his bias and his lack of neutrality on the matter (a pillar of Wikipedia). Unfortunately I doubt you can use this against him as the anonymity of the internet doesn't allow one to clearly establish the link between his Wiki account and his other accounts on other sites.
- Vedant (talk) 00:26, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
I thought this might be of some interest to you [1] [2] [3]. It seems like some administrative action has been taken against a certain user. Whether he learns to contribute productively after he returns from this block will ofcourse remain to be seen. Vedant (talk) 01:28, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
- Truth be told I was considering leaving him a nice "Yikes" message on his talk page like he did to User:Chanakyathegreat but I didnt want to descend to his level. I must admit though, it was somewhat humourous that he accused me of acting as a sock-puppet for Chanakyathegreat but it seems he learned the sock-puppetry lesson well :). Vedant (talk) 01:41, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, is there more work in Xinjiang for him? Vedant (talk) 02:46, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
Sigh look who is back... [4]. I am reporting it to the administrators. Vedant (talk) 03:54, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
- Contrary to popular belief, no one is really anonymous on the internet (as I'm sure Bo Yu has learned). Any vandal stupid enough to contribute as an anonymous user and leave his IP in plain sight for us all to see is vulnerable to an IP trace. They aren't always 100% accurate as they can sometimes misreport the city or not even provide that information. However, in general I find that most traces of US/Canada based IPs are fairly accurate. Vedant (talk) 04:58, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
He sure does seem upset
I have to admit, that video made me laugh a bit but not as much Bo Yu (I'm calling him that from now on) makes me laugh. It's funny how Bo Yu didn't even attempt to message me and deny that he was By78 on Wikipedia. Perhaps he was getting bored of it too :P
No doubt that if it is proven that these two are one in the same, this block might have actually helped our friend Bo Yu improve his GPA. I hear Chemistry can be a hard subject :\.
Here's a little bit of interesting information [5]. Most curious how By78 started editing the Arjun article article a few days after 24.123.151.141 started editing it. Infact, on his talk page, 24.123.153.141 made a reference to sitting in a coffee house in Columbus, Ohio near the Ohio State University (the institution which this "other" Bo Yu attends). Ofcourse Wikipedia's Bo Yu and this other Bo Yu can't possibly be the same people. Vedant (talk) 19:27, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
- Never mind, I guess you already read our friend's talk page. He does have another account that hasn't been blocked yet. I've been thinking of submitting a Sockpuppet request but I don't know what good it will do (See : Jaguar's Paw [6][7]). "Other" Bo Yu, if you're reading this (which you probably are) I have a few more possible account names for you : Chinesenationalist123456, Chinesenationalist123456OMGWTFBBQ, Itookfiveyearstograduate, iuploadpictureswithoutpossessingcopyrights, gloriousdragon and iliveintheusbutireallylovetheprcbutdontwanttolivethere. Vedant (talk) 19:37, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
Someone's been a little quiet lately haven't they? :) Vedant (talk) 04:41, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
- Maybe that individual has had their fill? Or perhaps we will see another sock. Vedant (talk) 18:39, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
- Suffice it to say, I'm watching a couple of things too. I put up a warning too on the Indian Roads WikiProject as this seems to be an old past time for some users. Vedant (talk) 23:56, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
It looks like Bo Yu is back. I wonder how long it will be till he gets another block. Vedant (talk) 11:57, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
- Just thought I'd let you know that in addition using By78, he is contributing using an anonymous account, 70.62.185.149 so I would keep an eye out for that as well. He has resumed the process of reverting well established edits and India bashing. Vedant (talk) 23:50, 12 November 2009 (UTC)
- Apparently that didn't take too long... [8] Vedant (talk) 02:48, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
Pak-hating editors
I think a certain individual is intimately acquainted with the contents of his posterior region. I do find it sort of humourous that he accused me of being anti-Pakistan despite leaving what I'd argue is a fairly biased hate-ridden comment. Most curious but ofcourse I haven't even made a single edit to the Pakistan related pages soo..... It's crazy what stating the truth does to people, it really does drive them up the defensive alley real fast doesn't it? On a side note, I'm going to leave his entertainment on my talk page for all to see. Vedant (talk) 04:03, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
Devanagri
Re: Your comment on Category_talk:Devanagri_typefaces ~ Both Devanagari and Devanagri are sometimes found in English for देवनागरी (Devanāgarī). I will change and flag Devanagri one for deletion. Thanks Chris Fynn (talk) 15:09, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

Raw Food, baby! Woo!
I was wondering about that! I came to the page history and saw your revert, and I thought to myself, "Any moment now I should be getting a message..." So I navigated away from the page and voila! I am the psychic to end all psychics!
Anyway, don't worry about it. It's no big deal. :) A little insignificant Giving thanks to all that is me 20:36, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
