Missouri route 340 edit

How is Ladue and Clayton no longer supplemental routes? I live right by the 2 and they still are. I could see Clayton being removed as it’s commonly not seen as a supplemental route, but Ladue’s exit (at least on 141) shows the AB supplemental route sign LuxembourgBoy42 (talk) 16:17, 4 January 2023 (UTC)

Infobox road returning bogus image size of 24pxpx for some CAN/SK roads

Here's an edge case that I have been unable to figure out. At Saskatchewan Highway 741, and in a simplified case in my sandbox2, Infobox road is returning an image size of "24pxpx" instead of "24px". This is not a new condition, but the MediaWiki software has accepted the invalid syntax for many years, and has (as of today) started to flag it as an error. I have looked through the various modules that are called by even this minimal test case, and I have been unable to determine where the extra "px" is coming from, and more importantly, why this problem does not seem to be cropping up anywhere else.

It is possible that there are other types of roads that are affected but that they have not yet been refreshed by the job queue and added to the error list. So far, it's just a handful of roads in Saskatchewan. If you have any insight, I'd love to hear it. – Jonesey95 (talk) 01:27, 13 January 2023 (UTC)

@Jonesey95: there was an if statement in Module:Road data that caused the 24pxpx whenever orientation=upright. I think I fixed it, but I'm not 100% certain if nothing else will pop up. –Fredddie™ 03:47, 13 January 2023 (UTC)

Mapframe maps for Quebec

I noticed you added a map for some highways in Canada (from a couple years ago) and I'm wondering if you could do the same for Quebec autoroutes. Many of those maps are outdated and too zoomed out, so I think interactive maps would be good replacements for them. If you can, that would be great. Archived FAC

Hello, my second attempt at getting Interstate 40 in Tennessee to featured article status was archived. One user did indicate an intent to support pending a copyedit review, and another user had a review in progress. While I disagree with the rushed pace of the FAC review process, I realize now that I should have gotten users to review the article in advance so that they could support once I nominated. That's what I'm going to do next time, even though I'm starting to think that I am promoting a lost cause here. Some people seem to think that the maps RfC may have damaged the U.S. Roads Wikiproject. That being said, since you peer reviewed this article, would you be willing to take a look at it again? Ok, well I don't think I can definitely do that one, considering it took me over 6 literal hours to find at least 15 sources for the page. I can write a history section but I'm busy with work and don't have a lot of time.

Can you make an outline with bullet points? It doesn't have to be in depth at all or even that long. Just find some older maps of Wyoming and compare US 30 then and now. Look at the cities because that's where you're going to see the most changes. We know it used to be the Lincoln Highway so that can be one of the bullet points.

  • 1920s-1950s

• The Lincoln Highway was established in 1913, as a transcontinental road from Lincoln Park in San Francisco, CA to Times Square in New York, NY
• It was named after Abraham Lincoln
• Was a long-distance road used for traversing the entire country
• US 30 was established in 1926, while the Lincoln Highway was still being built, which caused confusion in signage from Oregon to Idaho
• Eventually, when it was complete in Wyoming, it was routed mostly along the highway, which caused almost all of it to be supplanted

• • I-80 is built

• In 1970, when I-80 was constructed, US 30 paralleled it, and some parts of US 30 were rerouted to follow the I-80 corridor

• • Special routes

• Most of the former alignments of US 30, such as the parts that follow WYO 374 are still part of the Lincoln Highway
• Some of the business routes of I-80 through Rock Springs, Rawlins, Laramie, and Cheyenne follow the historic highway
• Lots of Wyoming locals still refer to the former alignments as the Lincoln Highway

Hey! It looks like your latest changes to Module:Road data/strings/CAN/BC have caused a few issues (approx 7) to be flagged in CAT:MISSFILE. Some such as File:BC-62.svg on British Columbia Highway 16 says unsigned so there is no shield to create. I assume this is because you removed "ifexists = true"?
