- User:Sulfurboy, one of the film notability criteria is "The film features significant involvement (i.e., one of the most important roles in the making of the film) by a notable person and is a major part of his/her career." In this case that is met for Texas Guinan and Tom London. Also a significant part of the Frohman film series. Because it's significant to several players we can't properly merge it to just one. 2 DIFFERENT things by two different editors. The item you re-posted is original research, which is the argument made against the item I had posted. Please discuss on the article talk page. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 12:02, 22 February 2020 (UTC)
- Your inaccurate addition was sourced to Genius.com. You've been reverted on your retaliatory content removal of something properly sourced. Feel.free to take your arguments to talk. FloridaArmy (talk) 12:05, 22 February 2020 (UTC)
- The other editor had not claimed my source was invalid, only that my conclusions constituted original research. The conclusions about the other item were, likewise, original research. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 12:12, 22 February 2020 (UTC)
- User:RoySmith removed your edit as "Remove unsourced WP:OR", twice. You then retaliated by removing a properly cited bit claiming "same reason my addition was removed". You've been reverted and the problem pointed out to you by two experienced editors. Leave off or take it to talk. FloridaArmy (talk) 12:16, 22 February 2020 (UTC)

- The source merely presents the original lyrics. It makes no value judgment about them. Calling them "bigoted slurs", which I would agree with, nevertheless constitutes original research. Do you intend to actually discuss this on the article talk page? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 12:42, 22 February 2020 (UTC)

AfC
Any reason you're still creating articles through AfC instead of doing them directly? You've been around well and truly long enough to not be forced to use the process, and it seems like something that would make people unnecessarily miserable to subject all your efforts to languishing in the AfC queue for weeks or months. CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n!⚓ 07:03, 1 March 2020 (UTC)Suggestion for discussing declines
I've noticed that you sometimes will respond on your talk page to decline with the reasons that you disagree with the decline. You'd probably be better off posting those arguments on the applicable draft page, as some reviewers might not monitor all the updates on your talk page (especially since there's constant updates from draft accepts/declines). Cheers. Sulfurboy (talk) 07:35, 1 March 2020 (UTC)

- New Page Patrol needs experienced volunteers
- New Page Patrol is currently struggling to keep up with the influx of new articles. We could use a few extra hands on deck if you think you can help.
- Reviewing/patrolling a page doesn't take much time but it requires a good understanding of Wikipedia policies and guidelines; Wikipedia needs experienced users to perform this task and there are precious few with the appropriate skills. Even a couple reviews a day can make a huge difference.
- If you would like to join the project and help out, please see the granting conditions and review our instructions page. You can apply for the user-right HERE. — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here)(click me!) 20:22, 1 March 2020 (UTC)
