Ongoing Nothere issues with AHI
I have been experiencing ongoing issues with the user AHI-3000 that clearly go into the realm of NOTHERE behavior, specifically inability to collaborate with anyone. For context they have largely been rearranging categories since they appeared on Wikipedia, with many of their edits being either controversial or plain wrong, and backed up by dozens of successful merge nominations on my part. They also refuse to ever discuss anything on their talkpage for more than a short time and wipe it pretty much daily, far before the recommended time to clear one's talk page and even during ongoing discussions. My efforts have largely been limited to triage but lately I've noticed they have also been passive-aggressive towards other users who try to stop them. The latest two talkpage comments have been "I'm not in the mood for this" and "I'm glad that nonsense is over with" (referring to a nomination by me that ended in no consensus, but still not "keep").
I'm posting here because frankly, I've tried and it's impossible to discuss anything with them normally. Only an admin can warn them without it getting removed outright. The issues were noted on ANI once but nobody really did anything. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 04:39, 27 August 2024 (UTC)
Sorry
I don't understand how our mini "edit-war" on Fallout New Vegas made me so irrationally angry. I even blanked your comment on the talk page. Sorry. It's not important to me, and you're right. Cashewnøtt (talk) 18:02, 27 August 2024 (UTC)
My apologies

Drafts
Hi, so I'm working on the France history series for each year, I came across articles "1579 in France" and "1570 in France" both have draft versions that have been moved to draft space by you, I'm still new to Wikipedia editing, this is the first time I came across such a problem, but I was prompted to contact you to resolve it. Should I just edit the existing draft then submit it again? Tashmetu (talk) 11:04, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
- @Tashmetu You can take whatever action you feel is appropriate. 5 years ago someone was creating a spate of near empty perma-stubs, most of them completely empty, and they were mass moved. -- ferret (talk) 14:47, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
- OK thank you. Tashmetu (talk) 14:56, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
Invitation to participate in a research
Hello,
The Wikimedia Foundation is conducting a survey of Wikipedians to better understand what draws administrators to contribute to Wikipedia, and what affects administrator retention. We will use this research to improve experiences for Wikipedians, and address common problems and needs. We have identified you as a good candidate for this research, and would greatly appreciate your participation in this anonymous survey.
You do not have to be an Administrator to participate.
The survey should take around 10-15 minutes to complete. You may read more about the study on its Meta page and view its privacy statement .
Please find our contact on the project Meta page if you have any questions or concerns.
Kind Regards,
BGerdemann (WMF) (talk) 19:22, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
Haseo vandalism
Sorry for bothering but it appears there are two versions of Haseo worth removing. Apparently an anon did something not suitable for Wikipedia which I don't understand:

- @Tintor2 Hey there. I think this is routine spam which doesn't fall under revdel policy. -- ferret (talk) 02:12, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
Reminder to participate in Wikipedia research
Hello,
I recently invited you to take a survey about administration on Wikipedia. If you haven’t yet had a chance, there is still time to participate– we’d truly appreciate your feedback. The survey is anonymous and should take about 10-15 minutes to complete. You may read more about the study on its Meta page and view its privacy statement.
Take the survey here.
Kind Regards,
BGerdemann (WMF) (talk) 00:18, 13 November 2024 (UTC)
- @BGerdemann (WMF) Hi, is there a place to opt-out? -- ferret (talk) 00:35, 13 November 2024 (UTC)
restore talk page access? Carry to the community? -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 16:11, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Deepfriedokra He is 3X community banned so has to go to community. He has IP evaded this month. -- ferret (talk) 18:34, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
- Obviously if he is evaded this month he needs to wait six months. Thanks.. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 18:41, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Deepfriedokra Yup, see User talk:47.223.58.232 just a week ago. -- ferret (talk) 18:45, 15 November 2024 (UTC)

About your block of "I LOST WALL HACKS"
Oh, look, AI-generated "apologies"! –15:20, 26 November 2024 (UTC) Skywatcher68 (talk) 15:20, 26 November 2024 (UTC)
Lenny Summers
Saw your revert of the Lenny Summers inclusion, and I have to admit that I find your logic extremely flawed. By your logic, why is Bill named at all? Why is Javier named at all? The only mentions of them in the summary is when they escape with the gang to Cuba and when they side with Dutch / Micah. What is their relevance to the plot? Lenny has several main story missions in which he has importance, far more than Bill and Javier. By your logic, we should be removing those two as well.
Perhaps I'm just being blind to something, but reverting a single name drop on the basis of it being random after I added him to the list of gunslingers, which is the only sort of backstory that the article gives on Bill and Javier, seems extremely odd. ARegularDoge (talk) 22:42, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
- @ARegularDoge Talk page for the article is at Talk:Red Dead Redemption 2. This is a long standing consensus and I simply explained it in short form. I'm sure you saw the hidden note you removed when you made the edit. -- ferret (talk) 22:46, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
Requesting help with Enron
Hi! I noticed your revert patrolling on Enron and I wanted to ask for assistance. I tried to remove the revenue, expenses, and employees lines from the infobox because they're wildly out of date, but they were brought back and linked to a Wikidata page. Would I need to change it on Wikidata, or am I able to remove them from the page entirely? guninvalid (talk) 19:33, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
- @Guninvalid I do not have any knowledge of this topic, I was just reverting a vandal. If the infobox uses Wikidata, then it will continue to show unless Wikidata is removed or changed. But removal is not the right course of action either here or on Wikidata. As long as the data is appropriate sourced and what year it applies to is denoted, its fine. -- ferret (talk) 21:46, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
Season's Greetings
Hello Ferret: Enjoy the holiday season and winter solstice if it's occurring in your area of the world, and thanks for your work to maintain, improve and expand Wikipedia. Cheers, AntiCompositeNumber (talk) 01:49, 23 December 2024 (UTC)
PS5
Can I please get feedback why my changes are not applied? The info on Wikipedia is wrong regarding SSD and GPU. See my talk here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:PlayStation_5#PS5_hardware — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dc coder 84 (talk • contribs) 16:07, 25 December 2024 (UTC)
- I don't see where any further feedback is needed. You made unsourced edits, went to the talk page when reverted, and someone else has since integrated the information. -- ferret (talk) 16:40, 25 December 2024 (UTC)
User Iacowriter
Hi! User talk:Iacowriter has been warned in the past year not to update numbers since he is not listening and can't do basic rounding of numbers and update the accessdate parameter. He has been warned enough times as seen by his talk page. I think maybe a block is in order since he refuses to listen. Timur9008 (talk) 11:14, 27 December 2024 (UTC)
- @Timur9008 Might be a matter for ANI. I see 65 of their last 500 edits reverted. I do not have the bandwidth right now to work through this. -- ferret (talk) 14:28, 27 December 2024 (UTC)

Sorry about that, must have been browser jump or user error. Acroterion (talk) 14:38, 27 December 2024 (UTC)
