A barnstar for you!

The Technical Barnstar
For your invaluable work on the ACC tool, and for putting up with loosely defined feature requests -- There'sNoTime (to explain) 18:38, 7 October 2017 (UTC)
@There'sNoTime: Thank you so very much! --FastLizard4 (talkcontribs) 00:15, 8 October 2017 (UTC)

IRC

When you get a chance, add me to the ACC IRC channel. I'm pretty sure I'm just not going to touch anything until I get someone on live chat. My IRC is TJWood. The interface doesn't really... give a lot to go on. I kindof figured they would be accompanied by an email saying why they couldn't register the name themselves. GMGtalk 12:17, 28 October 2017 (UTC)

@GreenMeansGo: You already have access to the IRC channel; JJMC89 added you the night you were approved. Have you tried joining? Also, what do you mean when you say that you figured? I presume you read the email I sent you when I approved your access as well as the ACC guide? Between the two, they should pretty adequately explain exactly what to expect and the basics to handling requests, so if you haven't already, please do read them carefully before you try to do anything in the ACC interface itself. And, of course, feel free to poke me or another ACCer on IRC if you have any questions. --FastLizard4 (talkcontribs) 12:42, 28 October 2017 (UTC)
Yes, I have read over them and probably will have to read over them quite a few times more. Unfortunately, as I found on OTRS, a guide is not always a perfect substitute for actually using a new interface and talking with others who have. I'm not sure what's going on with IRC. I've been "joining" the IRC channel for about half an hour now. Again, OTRS is my only frame of reference for learning to use a non-media-wiki interface. Unless I'm mistaken, I believe I was first added to the OTRS channel by one of the OTRS admins that I was chatting with already at the the time. If we can't sort it out, I can probably just wait to catch TNT online. They're the one who roped me into this to begin with anyway. GMGtalk 13:08, 28 October 2017 (UTC)
Yup. And I'm an idiot. I just needed to restart IRC because it had bugged out. GMGtalk 14:06, 28 October 2017 (UTC)

Here's my proof of identification. I am SkiWarrior on IRC (I don't know how to use IRC that well and accidentally registered my actual username with an incorrect email). SkyWarrior 20:11, 21 December 2017 (UTC)
