Mediation case on JumpTV

I noticed that you have closed the case. Actually, the issue has long been settled out of band. You might have noted that there were no message exchanges after the first day. That's because later, JumpTV's director of marketing sent email messages to me and Jimbo saying that his employee will not edit the articles further, and the edits in question will stop thereafter. September Esperanza Newsletter

Program Feature: Barnstar Brigade Here in Wikipedia there are hundreds of wikipedians whose work and efforts go unappreciated. One occasionally comes across editors who have thousands of good edits, but because they may not get around as much as others, their contributions and hard work often go unnoticed. As Esperanzians we can help to make people feel appreciated, be it by some kind words or the awarding of a Barnstar. This is where the Barnstar Brigade comes in. The object of this program is to seek out the people which deserve a Barnstar, and help them feel appreciated. With your help, we can recognize more dedicated editors! What's New? September elections are upon us! Anyone wishing to be a part of the Advisory Council may list themselves as a candidate from 18 September until 24 September, with the voting taking place from 25 September to 30 September. Those who wish to help with the election staff should also list themselves! Appreciation Week, a program currently in development, now has its own subpage! Share your good ideas on how to make it awesome there! The Esperanza front page has been redesigned! Many thanks to all who worked hard on it. The last AC meeting (full log) The proposals page has been updated, with some proposals being archived. Hi False Prophet,

Although Nottingham is refraining from editing the Hong Tran page while it is in AfD, his recent edits to the Washington United States Senate election, 2006 page make it seem like this conflict could bleed into other pages, and is likely to start back up on the Tran page after the AfD is closed. Given what I've seen thus far, I'm not optimistic that mediation will lead to a collaborative attitude from Nottingham, but I'm willing to give it a try (and I think I need to before an RfA). Could you begin talking with us on this? Btw, Bobblehead and I have differences of opinion on these articles as well, and in my opinion he was a participant in (and perhaps even the one who started) the edit war on the Hong Tran page, but it looks more to me like he and I will be able to work in a civil and sane manner on continuing disagreements. I will leave it up to you as to whether you want to include him in the mediation discussions.

Sorry to bother you, but as an Inclusionist wikipedia things are getting desperate and I need to appeal to your for help. We are facing a situation where a deletionist admin is free to declare inclusionist arguments "absurd" and ignore them at will. If you don't agree with this situation, please share your opinion here. Since you indicated you would be interested in seeing what the deleted article looked like I have put a copy of it in User:JoshuaZ/Sandbox. I would however make the preliminary statement that DRV is not AfD take 2 but is supposed to be about whether the process was followed (although this DRV is getting to be such a mess I doubt anyone will mind yet another user [[WP:IAR|deciding that it is better to ignore that). Project news A new review process for potential A-Class articles is now operational. Much of the backlog of pre-review articles has already been processed; all project members are invited to take part in future reviews, and to nominate high-quality articles themselves. The automation department, which schedules bulk tasks for bot and AWB processing, is now open; all project members can request new tasks and comment on existing requests. The various requests for articles and images have been consolidated into the combined requests page, which now includes requests for article creation, maps and other images, translation, and article cleanup. Some advice for editors working on featured article candidacies is now available; further suggestions are welcome. A showcase of high-quality articles has been added to the project page; it includes featured and A-Class articles within the project's scope. The Early Modern warfare task force, covering the period from c. 1500 to c. 1792, has been created. A standard category scheme for military conflicts and operations is now available.	Current proposals and discussions Discussion continues about possible enhancements to the project award system. The proposed category scheme for military units and formations is nearing completion; further commments are welcome! A discussion about working on old featured articles with citation problems has begun. Several ideas for new task forces are up for debate.

I wonder if by that you mean the project should be considered discontinued, and possibly whether the page should be deleted.
