Week5/Wengconor
In this week, I edit two different topics about retail and robotics, and here are the difference on retail and robotics
In summary: robotics applications have high future value in the retail industry and will play a huge role in the near future.
In this process, I know more information about retail and robotics, and how the robot will be used in retail industry, which will bring huge benefits to this industry.

Week 7/ YW5634
The first article I edited is Face-to-face interaction, the diff is here. The transitive memory development brought by face-to-face communication is more effective than that by online communication, especially when an organization invites all its members to participate in face-to-face team-building activities. The second article I edited is Leadership, the diff is here. This article is complicated for me and filled with a lot of literature, but there are still gaps in literature like this. This proves that the completeness of the literature requires people to add and modify with the times.YW5634 (talk) 22:12, 13 August 2022 (UTC)
- @YW5634 Can you share your final thoughts on this assignment per the specific Week 7 request? Ping me here when done and I will review. FULBERT (talk) 15:59, 14 August 2022 (UTC)
- @FULBERTMy final thought is that this assignment is very necessary. Up to now, the number of pageviews of our edited articles has reached 2.93m, but the job is not heavy. We only need to find a point or two in the articles we read each week to supplement Wikipedia, but the supplemented articles may also be of some help to those who see this article in the future. My biggest insight is that Wikipedia needs to be supplemented a little by people. The information that people find through Wikipedia in the future is based on this little addition. So I think this homework is very necessary, and I will continue to edit Wikipedia in the future. YW5634 (talk) 19:15, 14 August 2022 (UTC)
- @YW5634 Nice edits on these two final articles, and thanks for the overall feedback on this. I hope you find Wikipedia editing useful and continue with it. Let me know in the future if you ever need any support or help with it. Current with Week 7. --- FULBERT (talk) 11:07, 16 August 2022 (UTC)

Summary: The phenomena that Covid-19 changes consumers' buying decision. Katrinalin1001 (talk) 03:24, 14 August 2022 (UTC)

- Yes. Editing Wikipedia is a new experience for me. I have learned a lot during this time especially while adding citation and paraphrasing into my own words from the authors' papers. After this class finishes, I will try to continue contribute on Wikipedia, because I want to more people who might not have academic scholar access can have more peer-reviewed information. @FULBERT Katrinalin1001 (talk) 01:20, 16 August 2022 (UTC)

Week 7/ XChen0219
I added a photo which shows a view called Old Man's Cave in Hocking Hills Park, Ohio, USA to the article State park, the diff is here. XChen0219 (talk) 08:42, 14 August 2022 (UTC)
- @XChen0219 Can you share your final thoughts on this assignment per the specific Week 7 request? Ping me here when done and I will review. FULBERT (talk) 16:06, 14 August 2022 (UTC)
- Yes. It has been a good experience to try to add an appropriate image to an article. Though the process was pretty challenging. Because there were few articles that really need to have new images. Also you have to consider which photo you own or the photo you have been authorized could be a potential photo to an article. I am so glad that I really took some photos in Hocking Hills State Park when I was studying at The Ohio State University. I almost gave it up after searching for about an hour, and still had no clue. After all, I feel like it was tough but worthy to give it a shoot. XChen0219 (talk) 18:35, 14 August 2022 (UTC)

Week 7/dc4825
I edited two different articles. The first is Email fraud and the differ is here. The second is Network eavesdropping, and the differ is here. Summary: Email fraud is like email phishing that people click the embedded link in email will get hacked. Network eavesdropping is attackers use internet to collect data and information. I think though this 7 weeks editing an article at Wikipedia, I feel like I am familiar with it and I am happy that I contribute to the Wiki. Short reflection: I think the overall Wikipedia editing experience is good. I haven't edit any articles before. While through this experience, I like I learned more about how to use academic articles to make Wiki articles have more details. I think I would continue to editing the articles and make more contributions. Dc4825 (talk) 06:52, 15 August 2022 (UTC)
- @Dc4825 Nice edits on these two final articles even though one was removed. Good enough for this assignment for now. Thanks for the overall feedback on this. Week7 (Bonus)/WL2671
I edited article air pollution, the diff is here. I edited article hotel, the diff is here.
Through this semester's experience of revising wikipedia, I am now very skilled at adding content to wikipedia and finding appropriate material for referencing. through this process I have found that although I cannot directly quote from wikipedia when writing, there are many citation that are good sources that can be read independently I found that although I can't directly cite wikipedia content when writing, there are many citation sources that are good to read independently and cite as support for my own ideas.Wl2671 (talk) 21:02, 15 August 2022 (UTC)
- @Wl2671 The sources you used are not as strong or high quality as would have been ideal, though they are ok for now. Thanks for your feedback at the end of the assignment. Current with week 7. FULBERT (talk) 11:13, 16 August 2022 (UTC)
