Links to user pages and sandboxes
[edit]Please do not introduce links in actual articles to user pages or sandboxes, as you did at Road signs in Ireland. Since these pages have not been accepted as articles, user pages, sandboxes and drafts are not suitable for linking in articles. and such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been deleted, please do not re-add any such links, thank you - Arjayay (talk) 15:56, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
- That was an honest mistake, as you can see it was linking to a section within the same topic (my sandbox acts a WIP version of the article as I create new images and place them there before moving to the actual article). EthanL13 (talk) 16:30, 8 November 2023 (UTC)

Road sign font
[edit]Hiya, very sorry to ask but may I please ask for the font as file you use for Irish Road signs? I am working on a project and would really appreciate it! Go raibh maith agat! Aviamonixa (talk) 20:18, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @Aviamonixa. For the road signs I have created, I have not used a font, but rather have used the File:Transport Heavy character set.svg and File:Transport Éire character set.svg files to piece destinations and words together manually, using Inkscape. While there is a free version of the Transport Heavy font available, none exists for the Irish font (bar a very poor quality one here). Ádh mór le do thionscadal.
