Conflict of interest

Hello Ervin,

I noticed you edited Eurovision Song Contest 2015, and also cited your own published source. Unfortunately you cannot add content and cite your own professional sources, per WP:SELFPUB, which also is violating conflict of interest. If you have content that needs to be added to Euroision-related articles, then you strongly need to inform of the content via the respective article's talk page, for someone else to add it. On this occasion I am going to have to remove the content you added, which also means it may be unusable for future use because of this matter. So sorry to have to take that step, but it was either that, or take this matter down the official channels at Conflict of Interest noticeboard, where blocking sanctions may have been issued. No, you're not being banned. Other editor's (including myself) have cited your articles in the past, than that is fine. We're just not allowed to cite our own work, hence why I advised that it is better to make an "edit request" via an article talk page - making sure to let people know of the close interest, and then they can add the content instead. You're very welcome. And yes, I got the reply. Lucky you to be off to Malta, I'd trade this cold British weather, for Maltese sunshine anyday. I'm not good with the colder climate. BUt yes, any help with EYM would be truly grateful, as people seem to think it is an "unknown event". The Internet doesn't have much information, and I feel it is a shame that a Eurovision event should go under the radar, and increasing its awareness and turn an "unknown" into a "well-known" would be good in my eyes. WikiProject Eurovision Cup - April 2015

WikiProject Eurovision Cup EuroCup II Dear Project Member The winner of the first Project Eurovision Cup is Jjj1238, who achieved an outstanding 108 points. Androptrnt finished in second place with 30 points, and Moldova96 in third with 15 points. The second contest has begun, with participants from the first contest automatically registered. The EuroCup II will run from 1 April to 30 June, to allow people to get articles reviewed for GA or FA status. The aim of the competition is to help improve many of the articles within Project Eurovision that would have been otherwise left neglected, by carrying out as many objectives as possible. The more objectives you do, the more points you will earn. So have you got what it takes to be crowned winner of the next Project Eurovision Cup? Project members who wish to participate have until 18 April to sign up. The Project Cup judges, Wesley Mouse and CT Cooper, wish you all the best of luck.

Androptrnt finished in second place once again with 40 points, and Sims2aholic8 in third with 16 points. The third edition has begun and will run from 1 July to 30 September, allowing participants a reasonable amount of time to have their articles which they may have nominated for GA or FA status, to be reviewed. The aim of the competition is to help improve many of the articles within Project Eurovision that would have been otherwise left neglected, by carrying out as many objectives as possible. The more objectives you do, the more points you will earn. So have you got what it takes to be crowned winner of the next Project Eurovision Cup?
