Long legs (or whatever it is)
Can't get it under A1 - it has context. What it is, I don't know. Sounds like a textbook or a dissertation. Not found on Google, so I can't get it for copyvio. I don't have the relevant book here... Try another category, or prod it or AfD it for OR or C&P. Or WP:NOTWEBSPACE if it's someone's course work. It's highly accurate, not yet completely here, and definitely copied in. Too good for dissertation. I'm going to have a bath (it being that time of the year...). Over to you. Peridon (talk) 21:52, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for the tip. The article looked like a review or a list of steps at first glance. I couldn't figure out what CSD criteria to use, so I tagged it as A1. I'll tag it with {{notability}}. WikiPuppies! (bark) 22:14, 3 April 2011 (UTC)

Newbies
Sorry about this, it seems in the rush to make the newbies feel welcome we've put a lot of greetings on the same page as each other xD Stealthysis (talk) 21:46, 6 April 2011 (UTC)

Trouted
Whack! You've been whacked with a wet trout. Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly. |
For reverting anti-vandal work by accident, I trout myself. WikiPuppies! (bark) 23:49, 8 April 2011 (UTC)
Re: Jacques de Billy
Haha, no big. It happens to me all the time as well.... I think of it as a game sometimes.... Try to get the rollback before someone else, even though the fact that I am reverting means something isn't right. I move on to the next recent change. Happy rollbacking! North High School Sioux City 97.114.198.32 (talk) 23:16, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
the information for this page is already fake so i do not see the harm in my adding to it. furthermore, none of my editing was innapropriate, it was simply for kicks and giggles for the students of my high school.

re: nothing on my schools page is ever going to be accurate. i dont see what harm im doing, the only people who ever see that page will be my fellow students who will never learn anything new from the page —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.114.198.32 (talk) 23:22, 17 April 2011 (UTC)

re: the few people who look at this page are expecting to see the handiwork of my friend and I, nothing more. most students dont even know that it exists. its an article about a school that no one cares about, so i dont see why anyone would care about its wikipedia page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.114.198.32 (talk) 23:33, 17 April 2011 (UTC)

Altered speedy deletion rationale: Michael J. Willett
Hello WikiPuppies. I am just letting you know that I deleted Michael J. Willett, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, under a different criterion from the one you provided, which doesn't fit the page in question. Thank you. Salvio Let's talk about it! 23:44, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you. I didn't know that it was a copyright infringement. WikiPuppies! (bark) 23:47, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
- No problem there. Please keep up the good work! Salvio Let's talk about it! 23:49, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
Removing original research is disruptive editing?
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
- Hi WikiPuppies. I'm no fan of the IP in question, but in this particular case it looked to me like they were legitimately deleting OR, unless I missed something? Cheers. Doniago (talk) 14:02, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
- Not a fan either, but that removal was legitimate. They seem to think it's pretty much mandated by policy and I pointed out on their talk page that it isn't, but the edit was not vandalism, and it came with a valid summary. Drmies (talk) 16:35, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry. I didn't know that is was original research; I thought it was section blanking. Trout me if desired. :) WikiPuppies! (bark) 14:17, 23 April 2011 (UTC)

Hi WP. Just letting you know I declined your CSD on Ccegbeni's user page. Users can generally do what they like (within reason) to their pages, including blanking them and even redirectiing them to their talk pages, and only article space pages fall under criteria for speedy deletion. Should the question ever arise, such as an editor using their page for blatant advertising or attack, for example, the way to go is through WP:MfD. We can however remove personal and contact details of minors, and non free images. anytime. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 01:41, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you. I thought that the blanking was a request for deletion, especially after the user did the same thing to an article that they had created. WikiPuppies! (bark) 23:39, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
- You're welcome. Most users don't even realise that blanking a main page is a form of request for deletion. Generally only admins and editors who do maintenance work are aware of it. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 23:49, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
