Your cheatsheet
Hi there, Xtcy3! I've been looking at User:Xtcy3/The Extensive Cheatsheet: are you looking for a list of common usage Wikicodes for things like templates and article formatting but can't find the documentation for them? I don't know much about userpage formatting though, and even less about programming bots (what's listed on Wikipedia:Cheatsheet is the most I know), but I think I can point you to some pages where coding is listed so you can centralize it on your cheatsheet. Finally, welcome to Wikipedia. Best. Acalamari 17:55, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
Good show on getting a vandal!
Normally, I don't visit another talkpage when a conversation is started on mine but I just noticed that Eaglestrike9 probably based upon your vandal report to WP:ANI. Was that your first report there? If so, congratulations!--Morenooso (talk) 05:33, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
- Hey there Xtcy3, when someone leaves a message on your talk page that like that they can be reported to WP:AIV. With how insulting that vandalism was, most administrators would have blocked that user regardless of how many warnings they had received. As for your rollback request, I have granted rollback rights to your account, as your vandal-fighting is good. Remember that rollback is for reverting vandalism, and that misuse of the tool (such as revert-warring or using the tool to revert edits you disagree with) can lead to it being removed...and some administrators don't even warn editors who appear to be misusing the tool. For practice, you may want to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck! Acalamari 21:50, 10 March 2010 (UTC)

Mediation (User:Chewwy225 and User:Turbocat404)
Hey. The problem seems to be the "hurrchan" staff trying to push an advtertisement for their website on the imageboard article. If you would check Turbocat's prior edits he has attempted to advertise his unsourced material at other times, and forced sysops to take action. I recognise one of the other spammers, "Courtney", as a hurrchan admin by just now typing their site name into the "Encyclopedia Dramatica" wiki. If you would check their contributions also you would see they have slipped links to their website at every possible opportunity. They would claim their site is notable for imageboard because of its supposedly unique attitude towards "raids" or something, but I do not believe this to be the case. Thanks. Chewwy225 (talk) 03:55, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, and let's wait to see what User:turbocat404 has to say. --Ecstacy Xtcy3 04:03, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
- By the way, I have put an inquiry at User:Kintetsubuffalo's talk page for his justification of placing a sock notice on User:turbocat404's user page. Am waiting for reply.--Ecstacy Xtcy3 04:10, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
- haha. It's ok. Basically they have four links acting as sources,

- None of these actually qualify as sources as per Notability_in_Wikipedia#Criteria. The entry is not sourced, the site is not proven to be notable, and thus I do not think it should be there. I've given some background as to who they might be and what their motives are, and I do not think much will come of this advertiser vs advertisement-revertor discussion, if you could find an admin as soon as possible to make a decision either way that would be great! Thanks :) Chewwy225 (talk) 04:44, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
- I see what you mean, so what does Turbocat404 have to say?--Ecstacy Xtcy3 17:58, 26 March 2010 (UTC)

Mediation (User:Chewwy225 and User:Turbocat404)
Hey there, Kintetsubuffalo. I am doing some mediation for the above-named users, and I need to know your justification of the placement of a sock-puppet notice on User:Turbocat404. Please replay as soon as possible, so I can make a quick resolution. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Xtcy3 (talk • contribs) 04:08, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
- I placed the sockpuppet notice because both the spamming registered user and the spamming IP are spambombing about the same non-notable site, and at the time this was in tandem. Per WP:DUCK, I called it as I see it. I stand by it, looking back on it now. --Chris (クリス • フィッチュ) (talk) 13:21, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you.--Ecstacy Xtcy3 17:55, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
Your note
On the surface I can't see anything wrong. If you think you can solve the dispute, feel free to do so! Acalamari 17:21, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
Request for help
Hello
I'm trying to clean out a backlog of requests at Category:Requests to move a userspace draft. Although the request is for a simple move, in almost all cases the draft article isn't quite ready for prime time, and the new editor needs some feedback related to Notability and reliable sources. I'm comfortable doing that in many cases, but I'm out of my depth when it comes to bands, footballers and video games. I see that you are a member of Wikiproject Music, so I'm hoping you feel qualified to comment on articles about artists, bands and albums.
For example, this one User:CircusMusic/Unexpected Guests
I don't know whether it is meets the notability threshold. Would you be willing to respond to the editor? It's only fair to point out that the editor hasn't edited since January, so it might make sense to see if there is any interest in discussing it before doing too much research.
Another example is User:David L Cleary
Again, no recent activity, so you might just poke the editor to see if they still exist first.
Is this an area where you might be willing to help out?--SPhilbrickT 16:24, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
Hey there, User:SPhilbrick, I would be delighted in doing this. However, keep in mind that I don't log on to Wikipedia as frequently as others. I will begin on this today, but will not be online for the next couple of days. --Ecstacy Xtcy3 04:33, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know about the timing - that's not a problem. In both cases, it has been some time since they edited so a couple more days won't be an issue.--SPhilbrickT 12:08, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
