My revert of your edits at Vindolanda
[edit]Thank you for contacting me. The issue I had with that edit was this sentence:
A spectacular find publicized on the BBC website in 2006 was the richly detailed bronze and silver brooch (fibula) modelled with the figure of Mars, on which Quintus Sollonius, a Gaul to judge by his name, had carefully punched his name before he lost it in the early second century; nothing comparably fine has been recovered along the Wall.
That particular bit is against this guideline and with it the NPOV guidelines. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and the goal is to provide useful information about millions of subjects, not to make them all sound great. WP:NOT. If you have any more questions feel free to contact me on my talk page. Adotchar| reply here 12:17, 22 October 2017 (UTC)
