[edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Jain temples, Pavagadh, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. - can you please clarify how the changes and not constructive and what originally written was is.
- As I have clearly written is backed by history.
- Please let me know Drs08 (talk) 15:29, 27 December 2024 (UTC)
- To start with, the information on the page was backed by references. You also, maybe mistakenly, deleted very well-sourced information. You edited and removed all historical information that pertained to the Śvetāmbara sect and tried to push a POV against references. However, Wikipedia is not a place to push POV. See WP:POV. Unreliably sourced or completely unsourced information is also subject to immediate deletion. See WP:RS. I hope you understand that Wikipedia is not a lot of other things too. See WP:SOAP. Have a great day. ParvatPrakash (talk) 15:49, 27 December 2024 (UTC)
- just to be clear I only removed the info and refrences which were unrelated to Pavagadh they were regarding palitana as you can see now and I also just merge two points of svetemabara.
- If you want just visit Pavagadh and confirm if any point written by me is wrong.
- And please don't talk about POV and wikipedia as place the current info itself is a POV as it says it enroached by someone.
- Please don't push your POV as I can see from your previous history of edits in wikipedia you are doing it repeatedly Drs08 (talk) 15:54, 27 December 2024 (UTC)
- Removing references is not the right way to go about editing. You had also deleted all parts of the history that you may not have agreed with. My personal opinion is immaterial to Wikipedia. What matters is the reliable sources. Primary as well as secondary sources work together to display information on pages. I've been kind to you as you seem to be a new editor. I urge and request you to not make any personal remarks on me as it is not the right demeanour as per Wikipedia's policy. If you think any information is incorrect, please bring your own information with sources. We as contributors, should refrain from adding unsourced or poorly sourced information on Wikipedia. ParvatPrakash (talk) 16:01, 27 December 2024 (UTC)
- ok Mr. prakash , agreed if you want to everything that has source I will add it source and that too authentic. I hope then you won't bother to delete it.
- Thanks Drs08 (talk) 16:04, 27 December 2024 (UTC)
- As long as it agrees with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, I don't know any reason why I or any other user would revert your edits. Happy editing! ParvatPrakash (talk) 16:08, 27 December 2024 (UTC)

Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]Hello Drs08! Your additions to Jain temples, Pavagadh have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. - Paraphrasing: Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information in your own words. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources as appropriate.
- Image use guidelines: In most scenarios, only freely licensed or public domain images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide may help with determining a file's eligibility.
- Copyrighted material donation: If you hold the copyright to the content you want to copy, or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license the text for publication here. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Copying and translation within Wikipedia: Wikipedia articles can be copied or translated, however they must have proper attribution in accordance with Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. For translation, see Help:Translation § License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked from editing. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. - hey, hope you are doing well. Whatever content I have added is completely legal and released by owner that is government of India for public domain. I don't see how it violates copyright. Could you please clarify me further ? Drs08 (talk) 05:13, 28 December 2024 (UTC)
