User talk:Doronef~enwiki
Hello! You created the article Olive oyl; I assume you were trying to create a redirect. However, Mediawiki (Wikipedia's wiki software) already automagically redirects miscapitalized page requests (try typing "Olive oyl" into the "search" box and pressing Enter), so I've deleted the page. If you have any questions about how Mediawiki works or any other aspect of Wikipedia, you're welcome to ask them on my Talk page or at the help desk. Happy editing! --Slowking Man 08:40, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Activestills, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://activestills.org/aboutenglish.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 19:33, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Activestills, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Carados (talk) 19:33, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
Re: Activestills
[edit]Are you saying you have permission from the copyright holder to post that text on Wikipedia? east.718 at 19:45, December 15, 2007
- yes. that wht i mean... Doronef (talk) 19:59, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
- OK, you have to get permission from the copyright holder to license the text under the GNU Free Documentation License, then send that permission to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. Somebody from OTRS will create the article then. Please leave any future replies on my talk page. Cheers, east.718 at 20:04, December 15, 2007
- Have you sent in permission to OTRS? east.718 at 10:52, January 1, 2008
- yes, few weeks ago. Doronef (talk) 13:33, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
- If you have a ticket number, I can try to find an OTRS volunteer for you (I do not have access to OTRS and am not privy to what they do and why). east.718 at 13:56, January 1, 2008

It takes time. OTRS is pretty much permanently backlogged. east.718 at 10:14, January 6, 2008
Salon Mazal
[edit]Basically it appeared that the article was written by someone from the organisation (using "we" several times was a dead giveaway). If you are from the organisation, I suggest you read WP:COI before trying again.
Also, I didn't see any evidence of notability, i.e. references to it in newspapers (Haaretz, Yediot or Maariv). пﮟოьεԻ 57 18:53, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
- I've put it in there. However, could you let me know if you are from the organisation itself? пﮟოьεԻ 57 08:04, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- im not, but i wrote it with another person from the infoshop, we will improve it and ask u for another opinion after that. Doronef (talk) 06:07, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
Hello Doronef, I've done some work on the article, and User:Number 57 has agreed that it is now in an acceptable condition to return to Wikipedia's article space: Salon Mazal. Regards from the Anarchism task force, Skomorokh 15:02, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Doronef. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Doronef~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
