Copyvios
Hi there, I saw you declined the g12 on this draft however the entire thing, even the last sentence you left is a copyright violation and promotional. It is not exempt under Wikipedia:Quotations#Copyrighted_material_and_fair_use because it's just copying their about me from their website and doesn't fall under that rationale. Also could you revdel it now? Thanks! Praxidicae (talk) 15:17, 24 February 2019 (UTC)

ArbCom 2019 special circular
Administrators must secure their accounts
The Arbitration Committee may require a new RfA if your account is compromised.

This message was sent to all administrators following a recent motion. Thank you for your attention. For the Arbitration Committee, Cameron11598 02:45, 4 May 2019 (UTC)
Administrator account security (Correction to Arbcom 2019 special circular)
ArbCom would like to apologise and correct our previous mass message in light of the response from the community.
Since November 2018, six administrator accounts have been compromised and temporarily desysopped. In an effort to help improve account security, our intention was to remind administrators of existing policies on account security — that they are required to "have strong passwords and follow appropriate personal security practices." We have updated our procedures to ensure that we enforce these policies more strictly in the future. The policies themselves have not changed. In particular, two-factor authentication remains an optional means of adding extra security to your account. The choice not to enable 2FA will not be considered when deciding to restore sysop privileges to administrator accounts that were compromised.
We are sorry for the wording of our previous message, which did not accurately convey this, and deeply regret the tone in which it was delivered.
For the Arbitration Committee, -Cameron11598 21:03, 4 May 2019 (UTC)
Could you do me a favour over on de.?
As you know, I can read German a whole lot better than I can write it. de:Sanctuarium (Stuttgart) really needs updating; see the talk page. Many thanks if you can. Yngvadottir (talk) 19:47, 10 May 2019 (UTC) —You can probably forget this; I now see a paragraph tucked away in the article. Otherwise the article is out of date, but it's not so stuck in the past as I'd thought. Yngvadottir (talk) 12:36, 11 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Yngvadottir: Sorry for my late reply. I'm struggling with a sore tooth but I might take a look at the article later. De728631 (talk) 18:28, 11 May 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks, but please give priority to the tooth! Yngvadottir (talk) 18:34, 11 May 2019 (UTC)

Upload poster
Can you upload a poster for a Scorpion movie? Source – IMDb. Malikxan talk 16:37, 22 August 2019 (UTC)
- Hi there. I think you can easily do that yourself, it's not so difficult. You can copy the low-resolution image from uz:Fayl:Scorpion 2018 Poster.jpg. Then you may upload it here using the Special:Upload page, and add
{{ subst:Film poster rationale | Scorpion (2018 film) | [[:uz:Fayl:Scorpion 2018 Poster.jpg]] | the distribution company or the original graphic artist}}
into the editor window. Please note though, that the article is not likely to survive because you didn't explain how this film is significant and notable. All film articles at the English Wikipedia need to pass the criteria of Wikipedia:Notability (films), which you need to demonstrate by adding reliable sources. A listing at IMDb is really not sufficient. De728631 (talk) 20:23, 23 August 2019 (UTC)- Thank you very much! Malikxan talk 14:49, 24 August 2019 (UTC)

Request translation: de:Ludwig von Flüe (Ludwig von Flüe). This page needs more information, if you can find it somewhere in internet. Thank you very much, if you can do it. --95.232.34.233 13:43, 18 August 2019 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.232.34.233 (talk)
- Hello there. I'll see what I can do. De728631 (talk) 15:50, 18 August 2019 (UTC)
- I'm sorry but I don't think I can help you with this article. The sources are so scarce that a translation would probably not survive here at the English Wikipedia, and as it appears, the man was notable only for defending the Bastille, so he fails WP:ONEEVENT. Mooring Frisian
Hi. Glad it's appreciated, even if it was rather minimal.
I have a question about Mooring (North Frisian dialect) (which I'd like to move to 'Mooring Frisian' per the other articles). The lead starts with "Mooring or Bökingharde Frisian", implying that they're synonyms. But the map gives separate areas and colors for N Mooring, S Mooring and Bökingharde Frisian, suggesting that perhaps N & S Mooring are subdialects of Bökingharde. DO U KNOW? SORRY,KEYBRD JST CRAPD OUT — kwami (talk) 01:16, 20 September 2019 (UTC)
There are hints this is the case in the lit, and in the original .gif map, Mooring was 5a and 5b to Bökingharde's 5. Glottolog also supports this, though it's a bit ambiguous (and dialects are not always reliable on Glottolog). But I went ahead and edited & moved the article under the assumption that the old map got it right. If wrong, please feel free to revert me. — kwami (talk) 02:19, 20 September 2019 (UTC)
- @Kwamikagami: Thank your for handling this case. Your are in fact right as Mooring is a subdialect of Bökingharde Frisian. So your moving the page was alright in imo. The German Wikipedia article, too, reads this way. De728631 (talk) 18:15, 20 September 2019 (UTC)
