Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed your recent edit to Canadian federal election, 2011 does not have an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks! 117Avenue (talk) 01:51, 13 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Election results

[edit]

Thank you for improving the election results for Malaysian elections, but I have reverted this change because you didn't provide a source with the alternative figures. I saw you mentioned https://undi.info in the edit summary, but it only appears to contain elections back to 2011? The election results in the Star were consistent, so not sure what the issue was? Cheers, Number 57 13:38, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I've taken the source from the Undi.info website, which actually has up information going back to 2004 (GE11 meaning 11th General Election in this case)
My main issue with The Star's numbers is that it has lower voter turnout numbers than the actual voter turnout. It doesn't include the full number of rejected ballots
A good example of this is in the 2008 Perlis state election. You can compare The Star's voter turnout for Titi Tinggi constituency (5,862) with Undi.info's (6,068), which is what is also used in the Titi Tinggi constituency article
If we go with The Star's figures, there'll be a discrepancy with that of the sum of the individual constituency articles (Unless that's changed as well of course) Daringdo94 (talk) 03:11, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for adding the vote figures to this article, but could you also add the source you got them from to the tables? Cheers, Number 57 20:25, 14 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
