[edit]Hello, I'm Jeh. Your recent edit to the page Windows NT appears to have added incorrect information, so I have removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Jeh (talk) 17:37, 25 April 2015 (UTC)
Hello Dangray, I am writing you here in response to your request to add the confirmed flag to User:Westmallingash. First let me ask about your intentions. Is your school project a part of the Wikipedia Education Program? Why do you need a separate shared-use account User:Westmallingash? Please understand that shared-use accounts are not are not permitted by policy. As such, I have blocked the account. I realize the account was created in good-faith, but please have yourself and other students use their own respective accounts to edit Wikipedia. As for uploading photos, if the files you want to upload are available under a free license, it should be uploaded to our free media repository, the Commons. You do not need any special permissions to upload there, and you can use the same username and password you use here. If it is not available under a free license, it should be requested using the Files for Upload process, which does not require any special permissions. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks! — MusikAnimal talk 15:40, 11 May 2015 (UTC)
- Replying here as requested, but please also reply here (I'm watching your talk page). What do you mean when you say you need to "configure" the accounts and create "cards" for them? Moreover, please share exactly what you are trying to do. I believe you said something about creating an article for a world record? Please explain and I will do my best to assist further. — MusikAnimal talk 02:50, 13 May 2015 (UTC)

[edit]we are making a world record page which we each write about and I would have to configure the settings, then make login cards each so they know their login.
- Why can't the students create their own account? Have them go to Special:UserLogin/signup and allow them to do it for themselves. Where will this world record page be located? What world records are we talking about? — MusikAnimal talk 15:31, 14 May 2015 (UTC)
- If you just need to upload photos, you can still use the User:Westmallingash account on Commons, your account is not blocked there. That's where you should be uploading anyway, assuming the media is available under a free license. — MusikAnimal talk 15:33, 14 May 2015 (UTC)
