Please do not create hoaxes, such as you did in the article Anawatazi. Cease and desist from introducing misinformation into Wikipedia if you are attempting to test our ability to detect and remove it. This has been done before, with universally negative results. Hoaxes are marked for deletion shortly after they are created. Kindly — do not disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method is to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia, and then to check to see how long they have been in place and, if possible, correct them. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia policy to learn more about this project and how you can make a positive impact. Thanks, Corvus cornixtalk 23:06, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Re:Anawatazi
[edit]Apparently it was deleted because we thought it was an obvious hoax. Generally articles with no references that make big claims about their subject might be viewed that way. You are free to recreate the article if you can find some reliable sources in which to prove the content is verifiable. Mister Senseless™ (Speak - Contributions) 21:18, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for your reply. I really appreciate the explanation. If I have time I will try and find the March 1995 issue of Black Belt or some other articles about Anawatazi and see if I can upload those as well as the article that was written about him.
I am sorry if you guys felt it was a "Hoax". I assure you it was not. Rumour has it that Dream Works is trying to make a movie about Anawatazi and his 1995 Kyiendashoto tournament win. He is more of a legend than Frank Dux, whom the Jean Claude Van Damme movie "Bloodsport" was based upon.
Anyways I am sorry for any extra work I have caused, I just was scanning thru one day and realized the most famous underground fighter was not on your site.

Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
