While it is certainly helpful to add Archive.org links to the works of Gardiner Spring, an even better solution would be to add the works themselves to our companion site, Wikisource. Technically we are not supposed to have external links to non-Wiki sites in running text, although lists of works have always been a gray area there. BD2412 T 13:35, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
- Oh, ok. I'm not really familiar with Wikisource. How do I add books to it? Will it show up on the author's page for people to see? Thanks. Coda Kim (talk) 13:39, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
- Wikisource is fairly similar to Wikipedia in using the same text markup. There is already an author page there for Gardiner Spring, and as you can see here, adding a link to Wikisource only requires putting an "s:" in the wikilink (e.g. [[s:From Blank to Blank —|From Blank to Blank —]] creates the link, From Blank to Blank —). - I take it the red means the books haven't been added yet though. It just gives links to "external scans" Coda Kim (talk) 14:12, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
- That is correct, those are all books that need adding. BD2412 T 14:38, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
