[edit]It looks like you've been reversing deletions for the editing of the veganadam organization. I'm a vegan and this is a very important organization in our community, does the article not demonstrate this? What can be done to improve the notability of the article?

- Also, not trying to say it actually abides by policy, but with the new wording of A7 (doesn't apply to controversial ones), stuff like that can't really be speedied if there's a debate on whether or not it has consensus notability. --SmashvilleBONK! 20:18, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

- FWIW - I think your taking this aticle to AFD was the right thing to do - there are clearly opposing views on the worthiness of it. Just because it seems the usual outcome I expect the result will most likely be delete but I hope to at least give the article a chance! Ros0709 (talk) 19:11, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
Re: Andrew Ogilvy
[edit]Hi, I really don't know a ton about what constitutes notability, and I don't really follow basketball. In case you asked because of my recent creations, the college football players I've been adding are all almost assured to be drafted in the 2008 NFL Draft - some even in the first round. So that's how I know they are notable enough. Sorry I can't be more help.►Chris NelsonHolla! 18:02, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
- This is not an appropriate speedy. A7 is not about notability - it's about high school kids making articles about themselves or other such vanity articles. The assertion that someone is a DI football or basketball player is itself an assertion of significance and if you believe it should be deleted, you should use the {{prod}} template or take it to WP:AFD if the prod is contested. --B (talk) 18:09, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
- Division I, the highest level of NCAA competition. Not all DI players are notable by any stretch of the imagination, but unless someone was doing something pointy like creating articles on every backup longsnapper in the Sun Belt Conference, it's not an obvious case and needs to go to AFD. Speedy deletion is only for obviously inappropriate articles that are indisputable. In the case of a major college football or basketball player, it's disputable. The longsnapper may not be notable and the walkon practice squad point guard may not be notable, but a starter for a major team is notable. So something like this needs to go to AFD if there's an issue. (In this case, there isn't - this player is clearly notable.) --B (talk) 18:20, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for the suggestion. I noticed that you hope to be an administrator. So I would like to return the favor and make a suggestion for you. If you get your wish, I'd like to suggest that you break out of the mold that is prevalent among some (but not all) administrators: irrational tolerance of editors who have made more than a few edits and persistently fail not only to abide by Wikipedia's guidelines for a quality encyclopedia, but to even bother to read them. I think new editors should be given some flexibility. But editors who have been repeatedly warned and fail to make the feeblest attempt to comply result in a poor quality encyclopedia. So we end up with happy editors who continue to blunder (or bulldoze) their way through countless articles. That's why Wikipedia, although unparalleled in breadth and depth of coverage, is woefully inadequate when it comes to reliability and quality of many individual articles. The administrator system helps, but unfortunately doesn't help nearly enough. That having been said, best wishes in your attempt to be an administrator. Ward3001 (talk) 20:32, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

Regarding User_talk:Tube_bar
[edit]It should be noted that the user Tube bar is the previously banned user Stonic. You'll notice from his edit history he already started adding links again to that site. Likewise, he recently used Special:Contributions/4.153.59.194 to vandalize several pages with AtariAge references. --Marty Goldberg (talk) 05:38, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
- No, you're not jumping the gun. I haven't done it yet because I've had dealings with this guy off of wikipedia, and he's basically a psychotic person that will go all out to get what he wants (including harassment and "shady" methods". You're seeing some of the early stages of this in the discussion. The second I get involved, it was escalate it in to a whole new level. I'll point you to the thread in the discussion forum of Digital Press, where he's posting as Stonic and documenting what he's all been doing here - www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=112000 "the trouble with Wikipedia". I believe that also constitutes politicking, as he's trying to incite people to start up on Wikipedia. --Marty Goldberg (talk) 17:55, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
- Just letting you know he registered another account now and was busy vandalizing pages and spamming digital press links again: Special:Contributions/Rockgardenmagic. You'll noticed he vandalized all AtariAge related links and AtariProtos links (which is run by a friend of the AtariAge guy). --Marty Goldberg (talk) 06:29, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- And its done (for now). The sock puppet report was approved: Wikipedia:Suspected_sock_puppets/Tube_bar, and the admins have taken it a step further and moved to blacklist the site he was spamming all together: Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Spam#Blacklist.3F. --Marty Goldberg (talk) 02:33, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

I disagree with your edit because little else in the article establishes notability. Certianly the introductory paragraph does nothing in the respect. Perhaps something can be said in the intro that will help? - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 22:17, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
- The fact that Ludwig's products are used by various famous musicians is speckled everywhere within the History section. Having a list violates WP:IINFO and WP:EMBED. Also, the list doesn't help establish notability due to it being a first-party source, which works against WP:ORG. Not that anyone should really doubt the notability of Ludwig anyways.--SeizureDog (talk) 22:45, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
- RE: "I tend to disagree with the notion that Lugwig is a name that is famous on its own merits"

Hi Tony,
I re-submitted 'Molton Brown Ltd' after reading up on the kind of article that Wiki requires and then requested that this was moved to 'Molton Brown' as I realised that no-one would search for 'Molton Brown Ltd'. I am not sure how to follow up on this & also why 'Molton Brown Ltd' redirects to KAO corporation as it is very much a stand alone brand. Other similar pages include: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L%27Occitane, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aveda, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Origins_%28cosmetics%29 etc etc Hopefully you cna advise me again!

Deletion of Molton Brown
[edit]Hi there, Thanks for the response, can you please explain why Molton Brown cannot have a stand alone page rather than linking to Kao? Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cheeky10 (talk • contribs) 10:12, February 4, 2008
- Well, Cheeky10, it seems that your article creation was not in the correct/acceptable format, as was deemed to be advertising or spam. It may have been that it was simply too corporate-sounding and did not have the proper tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Kao Corporation, however, is the perfect place to cite verifiable, reliable secondary sources, and if the information about the company becomes significantly cumbersome to be contained within the Kao article, it can be broken out into its own article once again. But proper sourcing must be followed, and the information must indicate that the compnay is notable for inclusion into the Wikipedia encyclopedia. - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 15:20, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
User name
[edit]My name is not at all random, at least not any more than your name (WODUP). WODUP is not an English word but just looks like several random letters to me. I'm sure this isn't the case in regards to your name as the letters W, O, D, U, & P have some significance for you. Likewise my name, Askdnapn39nfkjfen, holds significance for me. Chalk it up to chaos theory, but order is usually found in seemingly randomness. the Ask-dna part should be obvious: I believe that we can learn a great deal about humans, both physically and psychologically by unlocking the secrets of human DNA, thus the Ask dna. The P & N are my initials, my age is 39, and the other letters are the first initials of my children. At first I tried to create a username that was a single English word but all my options were taken so I decided to be a little creative. I'm truly sorry if you thought my username is random, but as you can see, it simply is not. Askdnapn39nfkjfen (talk · contribs) 11:53, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

However, a good number of us would prefer that users with genuine knowledge, or at least access to information, learn the best practices of editing here and contribute effectively. [edit]Notability of BIST? If a State Board of Education is adopting a program on a state-wide level is not that notable in and of itself? The fact the this is happening in Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, etc. makes it all the more so. Vas? This is "Schöne Milwaukee von Michigan-Zee," the Deutsch-Athen! Until the Great War, the biggest German-language publishing house in the world, bigger than anything in Berlin, Münch or Vien, was Germania Publishing, right downtown, with the bronze statue of "Germania Triumphant" over the Germania Building's doorway and the decorative pickelhauben on its towers. We had seven German-language dailies, from conservative Catholic to Socialist, and countless weeklies. In Milwaukee, not only does it matter whether you're German, but what kind of German: Sachsen, Donauschwaben, Bayernische, u.s.w.

Klondike Kalamity
[edit]Any chance we can hold off deleting the article on Klondike Kalamity? I know currently it's a little thin, but I am working on getting more info on its many productions, etc. I see you have no true article on old-time melodrama comedies per se, but in that admittedly narrow genre, it is very well known. Chances are, if someone talks about melly-drammers, they are picturing this play in their mind, although they may not know it by name.
Also, I'm realitively new to Wikipedia, so I may not being doing this exactly according to the guidebook, but I am trying to gather more info to flesh the article out.
Thank you.

I did fill it out and saved it. Where did it go? I am not sure how to add it now:
This article is about Kabbalah. The name of the article, "Toledano Tradition", is a term used only in the books of one kabbalist, Warren Kenton and by his followers. The term is not used in any traditional works of Kabbalah, nor by any scholars of Kabbalah. The term "Toledano Tradition" is very closely tied to the books of Warren Kenton, and with no one else. The article also contains diagrams from Kenton's books. Given that, the article should have been directed at a discussion of that particular aspect of Kenton's teaching....if such an article is justified. Instead, much of this article, as it now is, just duplicates part of the history section that is already in the Kabbalah article [[4]].
Just what do I need to do to finish listing this AfD? I would appreciate some help because I really do not understand why there was a problem. Thanks. Malcolm Schosha (talk) 23:00, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

"Time to take a break?"
[edit]And yet, you do not warn Anthon01 to "comment on the contributions and not the contributors" even though the whole matter was instigated by him butting into another person's talk page with the comment "Randy is unwilling to accept community input on this matter. He has been warned repeatedly and appears to believe his POV on homeopathy confers upon him the right to be uncivil. What is the next step?" As usual, it appears that only pro-reality, pro-science people who can think straight are subject to the rules on civility, ad hominem attacks, and assuming good faith, while insane religious cultists such as Anthon01 (and, undoubtedly due to your weird and double-standard-laden interest in this matter, yourself) can post whatever they please without consequence. In the 1 time out of 500 that one of their comments exactly equivalent to mine actually does get sanctioned, they have it almost immediately reverted by one of their pocket administrators--in fact, they get a "barnstar" for their heroic efforts at killing people with fake medicine. A wonderful "encyclopedia" you guys have going here--what is your ultimate goal after all the sane people are run out on a rail? Do you think that by evangelizing for homeopathy, herbalism, creationism, and all the other nonsense, you will convert people? Do you think anyone respects Wikipedia? Everyone with a shred of intelligence knows that this website is a circle-jerk, a game, and a dumping ground for autistic obsessives to talk about Japanese cartoons. You aren't going to accomplish anything more than converting idiots, which you could have done anyway. Randy Blackamoor (talk) 21:45, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
- I honestly have no idea what you're talking about, nor do I want to get neck-deep in debates. As long as you conduct yourself with civility here, you have all the leverage in the world to make your case against uncivil behaviors and poor/deceitful editing practices. Just because someone else is in a tizzy or a holy war for this side or that in any given subject doesn't mean that you have to get sucked into the same vitriolic exchanges. It can, in fact, do you actual real physical harm to allow yourself to get so emotionally invested in such wasteful drivel. Can I recommend doing more maintenance-related tasks or abstaining altogether from Wikipedia? I've found such a philsoophy to be surprisingly beneficial for my own peace of mind.

Randy's talk page
[edit]Look—Randy clearly doesn't want advice – sensible though it may be – from you. Please stop offering it.
For what it's worth, I do sympathize with him that there has been a habit on the part of some of his opponents to goad him into precipitate action using civility warning templates, and I can understand how he might see your warnings as more of the same (however good your intentions might be).
This has escalated beyond the stage where 'friendly' warnings from his (perceived) opponents are likely to help anything; indeed, such warnings are likely to inflame. If you have further concerns about Randy's conduct, take them to a neutral third party (as on WP:AN/I) if intervention is required. Please don't add any more advice to his talk page when you're clearly not welcome there. TenOfAllTrades(talk) 16:41, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the purpose of the red link to encourage people to write the article? Perhaps the sort of people who would visit this page would know about psychobilly bands and add information about a band they're passionate about. I would argue that a group like Koffin Kats, for example, is pretty notable as far as the current psycho scene goes; they have over 29,000 myspace friends — the legendary Meteors only have about 3,500. I simply haven't gotten around to writing their article yet, although I did create two other band articles yesterday. Would you like to help me?
As far as wiki standards on notability, the guide you linked me to seems to concern band articles themselves and not redlinking to them. Perhaps I missed something in it. Either way, if you come across an actual article on a band that is in no way notable, I encourage you to nominate it for deletion.
I admire your interest in this article but it was a mess when I got to it yesterday: headers with no information under them, and probably a third of the article links took the user to pages that weren't about the bands. The link for Deadbolt took me to the article on door locks. The ratio of red-to-blue links is not the sole indicator of how clean an article is, or whether it conforms to wiki standards.
--Emceelane (talk) 19:43, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- Do you intend to create these articles? List articles here on Wikipedia, especially music-related or other possible targets for self-promotion, are often filled with redlinks that will never succeed as real articles. If you have an interest in creating articles to address those redlinks for psychobilly bands, please read Wikipedia:Notability (music) carefully to make certain that your subjects have sufficient notability to with stand speedy deletion, prods, or nominations for AFD. But don't just create an article without this information so that the link won't be red. This would not be sufficient and would easily get deleted.
- You may wish to join WikiProject Music so that people will know you are a serious and active editor in this category.
- Some other bands will create an external link (that looks like this), linking to their own site, a MySpace page, or similar, so that it doesn't immediately jump out at you that it is not a real article. This is 99.9999999999% always unacceptable.
- I hope this addresses your concerns. - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 20:42, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

College of Chinese Physical Culture - deletion
[edit]Hi,
I can't believe you've deleted the page! Not only did it take me ages, but I thought it looked quite good!
Getting to the real nitty-gritty, the CCPC is a charity, just as in the same way as RSPCA, so why delete.
They do not charge for their services, are a cultural magnet in many inner city areas of the UK that offer extensive volunteering to underpriveleged youngsters, keeping them active and focused, as well as off the streets.
They have recently received funding from the V Commission, and are desperating trying to spread the word. If the RSPCA can do it, why can't they?!
And more than that, participants in this art (which dates back over 3,000 years) have long enjoyed significant physical and mental health benefits from their involvement.
This is so closely linked to all of your other Chinese movement and dance pages, from Lishi to wushu, kung fu, marshal arts and more, so I'm amazed it has been deleted.
I even put the charity number on the page.
Please reconsider if, for nothing else, for the good work that they do in communities the length and breadth of the country from Edinburgh to London.

- P.S. The League Reports Network page always should have been deleted, apologies, and the other page submitted yesterday was in error, as you would see from the contents, or lack of them. - Aldhous (talk) 13:19, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
- Please read Wikipedia's notability criteria for companies and organizations carefully to see if "College of Chinese Physical Culture" has enough verifiable, reliable sources, and then cite them in the article before submitting it. Notability probably gives you the best guarantee that your article will not be speedily deleted, prodded for detetion, or nominated for detetion at AFD. Thereafter, check carefully that nothing violates Wikipedia's neutral point-of-view policy in tone or promotional language, and does not appear to be, or contain, original research. Wikipedia is a secondary source reference, which means the facts have to be sufficiently established elsewhere for us to publish information on it. Read Wikipedia's general criteria for notability to learn more about what topics we choose to include. Cheers and happy editing! - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 14:11, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Thanks.

- I'm accustomed to the Tavern House name from the Gloucester Township article, but the sources I had looked at refer to it as the Tavern House and mention Hospital House as an aside. My interpretation of that policy is that, really, we should block vandals in the most impersonal and bureaucratic tone possible, i.e. what the templates say. Why even give them a laugh? If we did that, you'd get kids who'd vandalize just to see what joke can be made at their expense.

Partners of the Americas wiki is considered for deletion
[edit]Dear Cobaltbluetony,
I created the article on partners of the americas and I believe that as an organization that has promoted development and cultural exchange thorughout the Americas for that last 40 years, an entry in Wikipedia was timely. I saw many other NGO's, such as Kiva.org, Finca International, etc, who have entries that are informative and present over views of their achievements, history, etc. Being my first wiki, I understand how I might have not provided sufficient references, or links within wiki to the organization. However, I would hope that as a starter entry, I could provide the skeleton for others to add to the entry, since there wasn't an entry to begin with.
I trust that as a NGO that promotes cooperation, it won't be deleted for having been created by a person that is slightly biased to the positive impact that it has achieved.

Not familiar enough with his work to be too helpful but I can tell you that he really is that important (and prolific), also some of his pieces are quite long so a short track listing is not indicative of a short album. Blanked Article
[edit]Sorry, I didn't notice that it was actually the author that blanked the page, I figured it was just some routine vandalism. I'll be a little more observant in the future. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Templarion1 (talk • contribs) 14:18, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
It was obviously cut and pasted from somewhere, so I just picked a choice phrase from the bullet points. Sometimes creators will reword the beginning of copyvio stuff, but they don't usually do the whole article, so pick something from the middle or the end. Hi there, and thanks for your message. I have to say, I don't see a problem with this new article at present. There is quite a bit in it that is common to many members of Phoridae, but the editor does seem to be drawing out the differences (eg. "however, Megaselia scalaris is an omnivorous species"). The article does need wikifying, categorising and a spell check, but its creator is new. This seems to be part of a classroom exercise (Wikipedia:School and university projects/ENTO 431) to produce quality content. I would definitely suggest letting things run their course and see what transpires. Hope this helps, — BillC talk 21:36, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

canine gastropexy
[edit]Thanks for fixing/redirecting the entry. I still think we should note in the lead sentence that there is an alternative spelling because if you look at the references on the article, it is spelled a couple of different ways in the article. I'll double check that the word in the references is correct as well. Thanks, Renee Renee (talk) 15:36, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, you're absolutely correct. I wrote this on the discussion page but the problem seems to be the university search engine which listed it was an "l" whereas the actual retrieved articles were gastropexy only. Also, I note that colloquially veterinarian websites, like this include the l, but I think it is more correct without. I notice that in some articles, like the one on Great Dane, they spell it "gastroplexy," so perhaps in the dog breed books they sell it that way. I don't know how to do it but can you set up a redirect for "gastroplexy" so that those who spell it both ways get to this site? Thanks, Renee Renee (talk) 15:53, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Hi Tony. The fact that King appears in the club's squad list is irrelevant - the WP:BIO#Athletes criteria is that he must have actually played a competitive game for them. Until he does so, for all we know he may get a career-ending injury and never play (and to predict that he will definitely play would be a violation of WP:CRYSTAL). Cheers, пﮟოьεԻ 57 16:31, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, but I can only go on what contact we have had, and I believe you have made a bit of a misjudgement on the WP:BIO issue. The fact that we disagree is not the issue (I have supported candidates who I have had debates with in the past because the issues on which we disagreed were not fundamental policy ones), and I feel that if anything, criticising me for airing a legitimate concern is bad faith. There is no tactic in my !voting; I waited until it was clear you wouldn't change your mind on the AfD before making my comment - I certainly wasn't doing it to make you change your vote. пﮟოьεԻ 57 17:38, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
- It only takes a couple of clicks to get the article restored (which I can do as an admin if someone notifies me), and as I replied to another comment, any comment on how long we wait before the article is deleted/restored is just WP:CRYSTAL balling. It's clear that you're a good editor and that my !vote was not going to stop your RfA from being successful, but I do think you need to heed WP:BIO a little more - it's one of the most fundamental notability policies we have, and ignoring it could lead to chaos; if that's all my vote does then I'll be happy. Good luck, пﮟოьεԻ 57 17:51, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
- That doesn't make them right, and it's not a vote. I've seen AfDs closed by admins against the majority vote because the minority voting one way cited policy, whereas the majority didn't. пﮟოьεԻ 57 20:01, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Does my "What if?" at the AfD do anything to change your mind? --Dweller (talk) 15:51, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
- I guess I differ on this point. Elton John's notable whether or not his next album is released. Jonny Nobody isn't notable yet and I'd speedy him until his album does appear. But I'd better understand a decision not to speedy that because the album has been recorded and even if he drops dead can still be released (might even do better! :-) ) I can't tell you how many reserve team players from football with bags of talent never make an appearance for one reason or another. This is a real, live issue that the football WikiProject takes very seriously. For example, if you look in my userspace, you'll find User:Dweller/Luke Daley. I've been waiting to move it into mainspace since the Norwich manager teased us all by putting him on the bench. It's quite possible he'll never play a minute of a notable match. Until then, he's not notable. When it happens... well, I'll move it on into mainspace. --Dweller (talk) 16:19, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

<Removed quoted text from WP:CSD. Takes up to much space>
- Well, i already knew that entire text you have quoted, as my work as a vandalism patrol regularly causes me to have to look up some specific cases :). Since the article is already removed i have no possibility to determine why i issued a CSD G1 warning. It Might be related to the fact that i tag articles with a G1 par WP:Snow every now and then since running it trough WP:AFD would take up a lot of useless time, and WP:PROD is already on a long enough backlog as is. Excirial (Talk,Contribs) 17:14, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
- I'm concerned about the overuse of the patent nonsense clause on items which frankly aren't given a snowball's chance in hell to be proven if they wouldn't have a snowball's chance in hell of surviving as an article, or at least if there were any salvageable data in them. In my opinon it's overused, if not abused, as an easy out -- even when so many of the items fall under WP:SNOW anyway.
- I'd like, then, to propose a new speedy category, that of "hopelessly unverifiable information." It might technically require a user to Google a topic, but at least it would be a reasonable speedy category. This could, properly worded, easily wipe out all articles started by students about their favorite place to smoke, or their really cool bike, or stuff like that:
- This page may meet the criteria for speedy deletion because appears to be made-up information which has no hope of ever being proven in any verifiable way. (See CSD R13.)
- Thoughts? - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 17:31, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
- Personally i would wholeheartedly support the move to add such a category to the available CSD templates. Personally i refer to the WP:SNOW guideline quite a bit(Perhaps slightly abuse at times), since at times its almost certain thats its a shortcut to the same result. Once i had to start an entire AFD for an article that contained a made up word invented by some friends. They actually sourced it with *.tripod.com sites, and at that time my CSD 1, nonsense was rejected because it was not patent nonsense. The admin that rejected it even claimed that it had no chance whatsoever in an AFD, but it should still be run. (Not blaming the admin, rather the rules). Result? 10 minutes work to start the AFD, and it was a 12-0 delete vote.
- Adding a category such as the one you would prevent some SNOW abuse, and would nicely fill that empty gap in the ruling. Personally i would change the text a little bit to make it a bit more general:
- This page may meet the criteria for speedy deletion because the articles current shape would require such substantional editing that its unlikely to be encyclopedic without a complete rewrite(See CSD R13.)
- Perhaps this is a little to general, but it could be used to cover articles in such a bad condition that a complete rewrite is the only solution. Might be tough to get clear ruling on it, so it might be wiser to suggest your line instead of it. When you do, please give me a call, so i can come over to support it! :) Excirial (Talk,Contribs) 18:30, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Hey there, just a few pointers (though I am sure you do not need them), before blocking IP's you might want to run a WHOIS, because this IP which you blocked for 48 hours is in fact a shared IP and as it is their first block may have been a better idea to have gone with 24 hours. - No problem, and congrats on the mop. Feel free to shout if I can be of any further help. GBT/C 20:31, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
Mistaken speedy tag
[edit]I think I added a speedy tag to a page just as you changed it to a redirect, so Twinkle mistakenly gave you a notification instead of the original editor - sorry about that! Eve (talk) 22:13, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
Question
[edit]Hey, there. Just wondering why you deleted this article per G4? Tiptoety talk 22:40, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
- G4 is for recreation of material that was deleted through an WP:AFD, not just any old speedy. Tiptoety talk 22:45, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
- Umm...erm...uh...yeah, it is called G1-nonsense, maybe you should take another look over WP:SPEEDY, but just because you do not like the article does not mean you can delete it for what ever reason you want. Please understand I am not arguing that the article was any good, I deleted it myself, I just wanted to make sure you where aware that G4 is only for articles deleted through WP:AFD. Tiptoety talk 22:50, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, you are right, it is G3 then, "This includes blatant and obvious hoaxes and misinformation, and redirects created by cleanup from page-move vandalism.". I guess I should have been more specific, just G1 and G3 are so close. Either way, I just though I should let you know about the G4 thing, I was not wanting to get into a debate about an article. Cheers, Tiptoety talk 22:55, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
