Speedy deletion of "Nagolites"

[edit]

A page you created, Nagolites, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a real person, group of people, band, club, company, organisation, or web content, but does not indicate why its subject is important or significant.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you. Tiderolls 07:32, 27 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the speedy-deletion tag and replaced it with an Articles for deletion tag. This will give other editors a chance to discuss it. However, unless there is some evidience this meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines and verifiable, third-party references are provided, it will be deleted. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 14:48, 27 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD Nomination: Nagolites

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem that Nagolites meets these criteria, an editor has started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.

Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nagolites. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.

Discussions such as these usually last seven days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, a neutral third party will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 14:48, 27 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Given that I've already done an internet search and came up with nothing, odds are this will be closed quickly as a "snow close" and deleted within a few days or less, rather than a full week. If you have information that this topic is real and meets Wikipedia's notability standards, please add it to both the article and to the deletion discussion quickly. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 14:50, 27 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Nagolites, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.
