How to make a player profile
For easy reference, just go to: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Richie_Sexson&action=edit The colors of the player profile correspond to the team's colors, so if you don't know the colors, check out the color codes used for the player profiles for other team members.

Okay...well you got to find out about the licensing and copyright policy regarding the picture. Usually, if it's from mlb.com or from the team's website, you could tag the picture as {{Non-free promotional}} and you'll be fine and the pic won't be deleted.
And to make an internet pic a picture on wikipedia, just go to save picture as (pick JPG). and then go to wikipedia and click on upload file in your toolbox section of the page. Where it says "Summary (author, source URL, {{tags}}, etc.):", type {{Non-free promotional}} there.
However, if you find a pic from some random website, don't even bother uploading it on wikipedia because it'll get deleted within a week anyway.
Infoboxes
Again, you have deleted an infobox. DON'T!!! They are there for a reason. Thanks Cs-wolves 20:26, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

I saw the colors you picked for the infobox for the Oakland Athletics (on Kiko Calero's page), and I just thought that those colors were a bit off. I've edited it now after trying to get the hex conversions of the colors from MS Paint. Tell me if you think my choice of colors is okay. here

Okay, I'm not totally sure about mlb.com now...so I'm starting to doubt myself. I was checking to see what free sites we could use and I saw that Wikipedia allows pictures from http://www.flickr.com/creativecommons/by-sa-2.0/. So, I'll try finding all the pictures there.

Ace Young
Hey, I saw your recent edit to the article on Ace Young, but I had to revert it. He's 25 (almost 26), so he really cannot be classified as a "child singer", since he didn't achieve fame until now, despite the fact that he began singing at nine. Michael 23:44, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

Editing your edit count
I was just looking at your edit count and I realized you had over 550 edits to your user page alone. I realized that you keep updating your edit count like every few minutes, but I just wanted to give you a suggestion. Just edit it like once or twice a day, like in the middle and at the end of the day, so you don't have to constantly keep editing the count.
And if you didn't know already, you can use [1] to see what your edit count is.

AFD comment
- I marked several of the age lists for champions, because it's simply listcruft and not needed. If this was a wrestling wiki, it would be fine. But it's not, so they don't hold that much importance. There doesn't need to be list after list about how old wrestlers are when they held titles. There isn't list after list of ages for other sports (that I know of.. at least). Wrestling isn't a sport (I realize that), but I'm just saying. Age lists aren't that important. Especially ones for lesser promotions: wikipedia doesn't need lists for lesser promotions that no one has heard about. List of UWA Canadian Championships reigns by length is what I'm in reference to. The promotion isn't that known: so it simply doesn't belong on Wikipedia. If everyone listed each and every promotion in the world, Wikipedia would be overrun of useless small promotions. List of top WWE World Heavyweight Champions by combined length
Just want say I really DO appreciate that your updating Booker T's run on this list. But the Big Show's 'ECW World Title' is not meant to be a part of this list; so we should really reset his number to 118 days. This list is meant to represent the often disputed lineage of the NWA World(1948-1990), WCW World(1991-2001), WWF World(2001), Undisputed Championship (2001-2002) and the current WWE World Heavyweight Championship only.
The ECW World Title, WWWF/WWF/WWE Championship, Post-1991 NWA World Title (TNA), AWA World Title, among any others are not represented in the tallies on this page, otherwise the total combined days for Hogan, Flair, HHH, Terry Funk and The Rock would be higher. I will perhaps make an all encompassing world title list soon, but this is not it. Cheers, Pretzolio@yahoo.com 15:14, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

It's not a big issue, but I have to agree with TJ Spyke, it's only 9:30 now and its already showing lengths for the 31st, which is a couple hours away. It doesn't really matter who edits them as long as they're up to date and comprehensive. Cheers, Dubbya9 01:30, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

Edit Summary
Hi I've noticed that you've often edited without leaving an edit summary.. so as a gentle reminder..
When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. --ImmortalGoddezz 19:45, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

Unspecified source for Image:2650946.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:2650946.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Please note that the image has other problems as well. It has no license and fails WP:FUC. Yamla 22:05, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
You said: "I marked it as coming from WWE.com."
- Well, you did now, but not when I left the warning. In any case, we can't use that image as it violates the first criteria on WP:FUC. It's a copyrighted image of a living person and we are only permitted to use free images in that case. --Yamla 22:08, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, sorry, I thought you were saying you had fixed the license. The source is wwe.com but the image does not appear on that url. It may appear on a subpage in that domain but you are required to give a specific URL, not just a general site. --Yamla 22:08, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
Image:D-ardoin.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:D-ardoin.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- – Quadell (talk) (random) 17:19, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
WWE Cyber Sunday problems
I'm getting fed up with TJ Spyke. The main event is called Champion of Champions. It's been said on WWE television many times, it's the official name of the match. So, for whatever reason.. TJ (among others) have been reverting my changes back. Money in the Bank is a ladder match, but it's called Money in the Bank ladder. In his recent change of my edit "(It IS mentioned, its gone in 2 days anyways. RR and MITB are unique, this is just a triple threat match)" is his edit summary. Champion of Champions is just as unique, even if its a one time match. There is absolutely no reason to ignore the official name and just call it a triple threat. The event is in 2 days, and I can imagine others will be renaming the match to it's official title, and TJ/others will revert it back. I've posted on TJ's talk page, and gotten no response, so I tried that route. Any suggestions? RobJ1981 04:26, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
- TJ continues to revert the page to his liking. I've reported him to an admin. His reverts are vandalism in my opinion. WWE calls it Champion of Champions, there is no reason it should just be a note below the match itself. RobJ1981 03:37, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

Title reigns
- As I've already said on TJ Spyke's talk page, neither of you own the title reign articles, so I see no reason why I or anyone else should be barred from editing them. In fact, after a bit of investigation, it seems you've used that fact to your advantage before. That's just a bit hypocritical. MarcK 01:27, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

Answer to "Vandalism"=
Today I found this message in my page: "You have recently vandalized the article, List of TNA X Division Championship reigns by length. Your continual false changes to this article have been too much. If you keep it up, you could be blocked from editing". Now, if there's someone that is vandalizing that page is you and not me, I'm correcting it because the informations I got are true. Title reigns start when a man wins a belt on TV, the fact that someone wins the belt in a taping day is completely crap, although it's true, because I know TNA iMPACT! on Spike TV is not LIVE!. Do you ever see on TNAWrestling.com listing in the "Title History" section that for example that AJ Styles won the X Division Title on October 24, 2006, when instead on TV his victory was shown on November 2, 2006? I'll answer for you: no!!! So stop editing the page I corrected, because if you do, you will be blocked from editing. Sorry if I'm not smart in this case, but that's how the things stand. Or if you prefer to correct your errors yourself, you're free of doing it of course. Cavax88 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, you are incorrect Cavax. Title reigns go by when a wrestler wins the title, not when it airs. I had to revert the vandalism done by you, and since I decided to go back to updating them (I was burned out in November after doing them for 5 months straight and needed a break). Fair use rationale for Image:Fbeltran.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Fbeltran.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. We not only received feedback at the newsletter's talk page, but I also received some messages on my talk page as well. Thank you to those who responded. The only complaint we received was about typos, and we will try our best to keep the newsletter error-free. Please continue to offer feedback and new ideas for the next issue. The more we have, the more we'll know how to improve the newsletter. Again, thanks! Contributors to this Issue:

The WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter is starting up an interview segment that has been in the works for some time now. The current schedule for interviews can be seen here. If you would like to submit a question for an interviewee, please do so by following the instructions here. We are accepting questions for any future interviews. If you would like to sign up to be interviewed, then you may do so here. We hope that this segment will be one of the most popular this project's newsletter has to offer, and promote a greater sense of community amongst the project members. The first interview will be published in next week's issue, and will be with TJ Spyke. In other matters, we are still running low on current events. If you know of any in the wrestling world that you believe merit mention in the newsletter, or wish to comment on any other aspect of the newsletter, then please contact us here. Thanks everyone, and enjoy the holiday season.

A new feature for the newsletter is the member interview segment, seen to the left of this newsletter. Each week, a user will be interviewed in a questionnaire. Other users will have the chance to submit questions to ask the user (to be included in the interview). Questions can be submitted here. If you would like to be interviewed for a future issue, go to the newsletter's talk page and apply there. We still need people to contact us about current events. If you know of any in the wrestling world that is worth notable in the next issue, or wish to comment on any other aspect of the newsletter, then please contact us here. Happy holidays!
