Please help me with...
I am trying to add a "credits" line to the information box on the right of my page. Each time I do so, it does not show up. My coding is as below:

why might my credits not be appearing in the final document?
Thanks everyone!

- The reason nothing shows up when you add credits to the infobox is that credits is not a valid parameter. If you look at Template:Infobox model you will see the valid parameters for the infobox you are using. Anything not on that list will not show up in the infobox. GB fan 17:37, 15 July 2014 (UTC)
- Two additional comments: Firstly, if I understand your signature here correctly, you are not Claudia Caporal. Then you should request a username change to avoid giving the impression that you are. You seem to have gotten the title of the draft you're writing conflated with the name of your account . Secondly, YouTube and IMDb are not considered reliable sources and should not be used as references. Huon (talk) 18:00, 15 July 2014 (UTC)
- @Huon: Why do you think that this is not an autobiography? Piguy101 (talk) 18:02, 15 July 2014 (UTC)
- Because the talk page help request was signed "Katie B Lee". Huon (talk) 18:09, 15 July 2014 (UTC)
- Oh, I didn't catch that. Regardless, Orangemike deleted User:ClaudiaCaporal for "Unambiguous advertising or promotion". Piguy101 (talk) 18:20, 15 July 2014 (UTC)

Conflict of interest
[edit]This is just to emphasize that the change of name does not exempt you from this: Hello, KatieLee92. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest.
All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:
- Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
- Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
- Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

Please help me with...
Although I am now unblocked from Wiki, I want to know if my deleted page is in the Wiki archives so that I do not have to start anew. Rather, I would prefer to alter my sources than write from raw. Please let me know what I can do.
Thanks Mike,
Katie
- Several issues. First of all, while your account has been renamed from User:ClaudiaCaporal to User:KatieLee92, you seem to have re-created an account of the former name and once again are editing as User:ClaudiaCaporal. Please log out of that account and log into User:KatieLee92.
- Secondly, when you add Help me-helped to your help request, that will tag it as "has received help", not as "is looking for help" - you're lucky I saw this by mere chance. When you're looking for help, the tag is Help me.
- Thirdly, altering the sources will not save you from rewriting the article from scratch. In fact, you should first find reliable, independent sources that cover Caporal in some detail and then summarize what those sources have to say about her, not first write a text and then try to find sources to back it up. In this particular instance, the tone of the deleted draft itself was unsalvageable. Huon (talk) 16:32, 29 July 2014 (UTC)
