You can't create a new account if your old account is blocked. That is block evasion and led to this account being blocked. You need to appeal your block at User talk:KryptonicChristine. Request reason:

first block was completely unfounded and false saying I was promoting - 2nd was 'sockpuppertry' which was an honest mistake as I thought just the old account was blocked and not the user. I'm confused here on a few levels- I thought we were letting this account proceed with editing; on another level, Christine, you seem to be saying the original block was incorrect- if so, you should be making that argument on that account. The thing is, it wasn't incorrect, even if you have no COI and are just a passionate fan(as I said on that page, the two are often confused). 331dot (talk) 16:24, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @PhilKnight by 'fan' I mean I loved some of the bands he was in, as I'm sure many people who create wiki pages on topics, people or events are inspired to do so due to their own interest in whatever subject matter interested them.

I have never 'disrupted' or 'damaged' Wikipedia nor would I ever want to do such a thing.

And again, I didn't 'promote'.

I do not know Shakir on any Personal level and up until now via asking him via social media if he can upload things somewhere where I can use them.

He isn't even particularly interested buy said he will have a look and send a few things to his website for me if that helps. WHich he seems to have been doing but I cant even upload or edit those references.

So yes I think the original ban is unfounded as was this one.

All Im trying to do is make the page better and I am learnin gas I go.

I do know and acknowledge the 'sockpuppetry' block although it wasnt to be 'fake' - I made a mistake in thinking the ban was acount based and not user based and I came right out and said it immediately. No deception.

Ill try the other account I guess. But I feel unfairly targeted.
