Your GA nomination of Erotica (song)
The article Erotica (song) you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Erotica (song) for comments about the article. Well done! If the article has not already appeared on the main page as a "Did you know" item, or as a bold link under "In the News" or in the "On This Day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear in DYK. Bolded names with dates listed at the bottom of the "On This Day" column do not affect DYK eligibility. Critic lists
Hi Chris. Just to let you know, as you work in several Madonna-related articles, I've created this repository about critic lists (all-time, decade, best-of lists etc) about her albums that could be useful for future references. It can be expanded, of course; I'll later create another one about her singles/songs, and live performances. Cheers, --Apoxyomenus (talk) 02:56, 29 August 2022 (UTC)
Please add alternate text to the images in the article, since you are putting it up for Peer review. You should do the same for any article, I noticed you changed images and alignment in the Madonna bio, but maybe you did not remember to update alt text :) —IB [ Poke ] 11:02, 1 October 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Cedric! How are you? it's good to hear from you! What do you mean? Like alt/description of the image? Let me know (would also love your feedback on LIB article) thankss! @IndianBio:--Christian (talk) 14:33, 1 October 2022 (UTC)
- Yes, the alt description of images, what feedback do you need on LIB? —IB [ Poke ] 18:37, 1 October 2022 (UTC)
- @IndianBio: Thank you so much! I've begun doing it with the pictures! Any constructive feedback will do! Whatever I can get to take it to 'featured article' :D --Christian (talk) 18:50, 1 October 2022 (UTC)
- To be fair, @FrB.TG is probably a better candidate for that. He has been churning out FAs with the Gaga song articles like he's making pasta lol. —IB [ Poke ] 18:52, 1 October 2022 (UTC)
- I'll ask him! Thank U so much! --Christian (talk) 18:55, 1 October 2022 (UTC)
- The pasta comment me LMAO. Chrishm21, I will take a look at the article in a few days and see what advice I have to offer. Coincidentally, I have been listening to this particular song by Madonna (and a few of her other gems like "Like a Prayer", "Papa Don't Preach" and "Vogue") on repeat the past few days. FrB.TG (talk) 19:05, 1 October 2022 (UTC)
- Thank U @FrB.TG:! I've recently decided to re-work on the articles of Madonna's old songs, as some of them are/were very poorly written/estructured, with irrelevant information (in some cases, even false). My goal is to get "La Isla Bonita", along with some of those you mentioned, to 'Featured article' status, so I look forward to your comments. Regards!!--Christian (talk) 19:08, 1 October 2022 (UTC)
- @FrB.TG and @Chrishm21, "Like a Prayer" is as good as ready for FA, if I remember correctly, that article looks smashing! —IB [ Poke ] 19:12, 1 October 2022 (UTC)
- It's still missing some information/re-working, IMO. I've worked on several Madonna articles in the Spanish wikipedia, taking them to Artículo Destacado (Spanish for 'Featured Article'), "Like a Prayer" included; if you compare them both, you'll see the English one is missing information, @IndianBio: --Christian (talk) 19:15, 1 October 2022 (UTC)
- Lol, I am not going to compare, probably will make me leave Wikipedia again. —IB [ Poke ] 19:16, 1 October 2022 (UTC)
- Perhaps it will encourage you to come back :P @IndianBio: --Christian (talk) 19:46, 1 October 2022 (UTC)

FAC
I saw your complaint on your FAC nomination that "it sucks that there's so little activity here", but like any other process on WP, the more you put in, the more you get out. How many FACs have you reviewed? (And that's not just over the three and a half weeks while your article has been nominated, but before then?) There is no quid pro quo on FAC, but people are more likely to review article written by people whose names they have seen pop up on reviews. If you want to see your nomination flourish, you need to put in some mileage on reviewing the work of others too. Just something for you to think about - I hope it helps. Release date of "Like a Virgin" single
With this edit you changed the release date of Like a Virgin (song) from Oct 31 to Nov 6, one week later. However, the RIAA says Oct 31, and Slant magazine agrees that it was Halloween 1984. Can you remember why you thought the new sources were strong enough to completely reject RIAA's date? Binksternet (talk) 00:38, 5 February 2023 (UTC)
