Speedy deletion nomination of Dr.Rabbit
[edit]A tag has been placed on Dr.Rabbit requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit that you made to the page User talk:Flarn2005 has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Please use the sandbox for testing any edits; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing for further information. Thank you. Leuko Talk/Contribs 20:31, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Brütal Legend, even if you intend to fix them later. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Thurinym (talk) 20:30, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to User:Keelsy Blystone. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. NorwegianBlue talk 20:37, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Disaster Movie. NorwegianBlue talk 20:37, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
Disaster movie
[edit]Hello, could you explain to me how my edit to Disaster Movie was so critcal it was considered my last warning? It's also on IMDB's bottem 100 list so i think that should make it considered one of the worst movies of all time. Cheddarjack (talk) 20:41, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
- Warnings are counted. This was your fourth, and therefore final. Your edit was unsourced, and as it stood, appeared to be personal opinion, which has no place in an encyclopedia. --NorwegianBlue talk 20:48, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
It is not an opinon have you seen the reception that movie has gotten!? I think you are being a bit harsh about the edit and need to read more about the film. Cheddarjack (talk) 20:50, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
You have changed the gross from a referenced amount to an unreferenced amount without giving an explanation. Please change it back please. Betty Logan (talk) 21:38, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add content (particularly if you change facts and figures) please cite a reliable source for the content you're adding or changing. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. PhilKnight (talk) 22:26, 15 November 2009 (UTC){{unblock|Im sorry for not adding sources but i dont know how to, if someone could tell me how to add sources within an article than i could show them. All of my edits for movie gross's are supported by BoxOfficeMojo.com so i think this block is very unfair. And i have not vandalized any pages with edits that are unnessceary or vulgar}}

Sorry
[edit]I'm sorry it was my mistake. After seeing that you had many warnings, and going by what you did on the 2012 film gross numbers -- I falsely assumed you were vandalizing. I reported you before looking at your history -- and your history proved that you are not vandalizing. I have removed you from the report page.
If you need help on linking -- read here. Again my sincere apologies. --Mike Allen talk · contribs 22:32, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
WELL NOW I'VE BEEN BLOCKED PERMENTLY SO THANKS!Cheddarjack (talk) 22:34, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
- I have requested review of this block. Tim1357 (talk) 22:42, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
I'm not convinced this editor was intentionally vandalising either, but he certainly did himself no favours by ignoring my request and surely he knows that removing legitimate references is not the correct procedure. If he had bothered to check the accompanying reference for the 2012 (film) gross he would have seen that the difference between the current reference and the BoxOfficeMojo one is simply that BoxOfficeMojo hasn't included the international gross so isn't as up to date as the current one. He needs to spend a little bit more time checking the references instead of racing through articles . Betty Logan (talk) 23:18, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
Your Block
[edit]Hey there Cheddarjack. Thanks for your contributions! I am here to help you along so that mix ups like these don't happen again. First, let me apologize. I know wikipedia is confusing, and we may have acted to quickly and not taken the time to answer your questions. Too many things went wrong at once, and for that I am sorry. To answer your question: To add cite something, put it between two <ref> tags. So that means, if you wanted to cite google.com, you would add <ref>google.com</ref>. Note the forward slash at the end of the second <ref> tag. The source will automaticaly be added to the Reference section of the article with a footnote. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask them-either at my talk page or by placing "{{helpme}}" on your talk page (including your question as well). If you want, you may read the introduction to using wikipedia. There are a lot of policies here, but they can all be summarized by these two- always cite what you add to an article, and try to keep a neutral point of view. Good luck! Tim1357 (talk) 12:06, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
- Hi Cheddarjack, just wanted to say sorry that I blocked you, and I'm glad you've continued to edit Wikipedia. PhilKnight (talk) 20:07, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

[edit]You have been warned about making changes to referenced information in the past. The references for the release dates clearly indicate the film opens worldwide on the 16th. Do not alter the release dates to adopt a US point of view because that violates WP:NPOV. Betty Logan (talk) 20:39, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
- If it was a genuine mistake that is ok. But please do check the reference if you are going to alter something. Betty Logan (talk) 20:44, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for February 20
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Olympus Has Fallen, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Heat (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The article National Geographic Video: The Savage Garden has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unsourced, neglected stub from 2010
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
