Please don't remove them, they can be fixed using archive.org, bots can do that automatically. Materialscientist (talk) 13:42, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Materialscientist Hi, Many of them are spam links so I am removing them. And most ofthe links are poiting to 404 pages, I have replaced it with proper official links. Materialscientist Hi, I see you are rolling back my changes? please note that I have spent a day today to keep these pages updated with proper info.

nic.in are not spamlinks, they can be fixed. When updating an MLA, do cite an inline reference. Materialscientist (talk) 13:49, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Materialscientist These links have changed and hence I am updating them...you just undid my entire days's effort! I have updated the whole category of pages. Unless you have a valid reason to do so ...please revert your changes...You have taken back the pages to old info of 2014.

Surely there is a valid reason. You are replacing sourced information with unsourced. Your refs like https://odishaassembly.nic.in/ are much too general and need to be more specific. Readers must be able to verify your changes within seconds/minutes and not hours. Materialscientist (talk) 13:53, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Materialscientist keep in mind that https://odishaassembly.nic.in/ is a govt website which gives the info as a verified resource. I will stop my updates here. Do you want to get an admin involved before we agree to do the changes? you have just rolled back a day's effort and taken all the pages to 2014 and with spam links. You could have have only rolled back the links, you just have taken all the pages to 2014. You keep undoing my updates. Can we resolve here or get an admin involved?

Err, most of those links are not spamlinks, they just need fixing with archive.org. Example. This takes seconds, this can be done automatically, and this had been done already (you were actually removing archived links). So please do reconsider your approach to editing, it does not comply with our policies. Materialscientist (talk) 14:07, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Materialscientist must say you encouraging people to volunteer by this. You just wasted my Sunday! You just undid critical info of the pages and taken back pages to 2014 information to promote links which are obsolete. I will leave it here, I don't have patience to argue with you as you clearly I don't think you appreciate hard work of getting the facts right and authenticity of https://odishaassembly.nic.in/

Materialscientist Please get a third party opinion on https://odishaassembly.nic.in/. I do want the pages the reflect correct details.

It is very simple: do your updates, with proper references (not simply odishaassembly.nic.in); don't remove existing references. Materialscientist (talk) 14:23, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Materialscientist OK. I will get a third party opinion and possibly an admin to review the mass undoing that you have done in favor of broken links than facts.

Materialscientist Hi, why do you think so? The https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mutual_funds_in_India has a table where the links are blank. I just created the page. I feel insulted when you say it's a paid page. please substantiate your claims. Axis Asset Management Company is very well known Asset Management Company in India.talk . Please point out any violation of me creating page. Also, how do you allege me of paid? This is clear violation of WP:5P4. If some one creates a page for of a company doesn't necessarily get paid. There are thousands of wikipedia pages for companies. talk I see you are an administrator. I have a request, The more I start to think about volunteering to create missing content in Wiki the more I fee that there is a lot of distrust around what is being created here. You labeling me as a paid editor for a page which was missing after I spend 40 mins of my time creating the page is really demotivating. I am sure you wikipedia needs volunteers to create latest information. I can understand that there will be a lot of spam which gets created but we mustn't see everyone in one lens. Please review the page, if you genuinely think it's paid page then reject it.

User:Checkright - You posted an incomprehensible question at the Third Opinion noticeboard, probably asking someone to agree with you about the broken links. User:Materialscientist is right. Next time, ask a question that makes sense. Robert McClenon (talk) 05:16, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Robert McClenon Thank you for taking time out and providing your third opinion.

Hi Ca, I would have appreciated if you asked me about details before you taking out useful information about one of the famous tourist destination in Odisha.
I am native of Odisha and I stay close to Putsil. Currently Wiki lacks any information about these places. What makes you think that I have used some AI agent to write this? You have not only wasted my effort to write this article, you also restricting me tokeep wikipedia updated with information.
Are you a citizen of India - Odisha - Putsil and in a situation to claim that I have written something which is not useful? Checkright (talk) 04:29, 4 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I am really sorry. I mistook your original writing for AI writing. But I don't think the article is in a good state right now. Most of the article do not have a citation to a reliable source, and the article sounds like it was written by an admirer of the region. It does not have a neutral tone suited for an encyclopedia. Putsil

[edit]
Putsil Valley

Did you take this picture? It's very nice. If you're in a position where you can take such good photos of the Odisha region, I was wondering if I could ask you to share some more.

As Ca noted earlier, the Putsil Valley article didn't have the right tone. I've been working on it and found that there are actually several books in libraries near me that have information about the valley. I think we could make a great article, particularly if you have or can create any more photos of that region.

According to these books, the people of Putsil use the valley for hydroelectricity, which is very interesting. If we expanded the article, we could try for a Did you know? entry on the main page. If you can, some cool photos to have would include the village of Putsil, the little power plant, the farms, and the tourism center. Let me know what you think. 3df (talk) 21:05, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I took the picture. The is a hydroelectricity plant down stream of Putsil - Kolab. I will try to add some information around it soon. Checkright (talk) 02:47, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I see that you removed the mention of Putsil ecoretreat which is a government tourism initiative marking as a advertisement? Checkright (talk) 02:50, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
