Creating hyperlinks in the body of the article is not allowed, and does not count as references. See Help:Referencing for beginners. References must be to what people have written ABOUT him; citing stuff that confirms the existence of his work is useful confirmation, but does not count as establishing notability in the Wikipedia sense of the word.
