Greetings! I have tagged an article you created, United Genders of the Universe, because there are two fundamental flaws with the article. First, it provides no independent reliable sources about the group. Second, it does not make a clear assertion about the notability of the group. Wikipedia has minimum standards of notability that must be met before subjects can have articles written about then; for organizations, the guidelines are listed at WP:ORG.

Please note that, in the article's current condition without sources and an assertion of notability, I would be within my rights to speedy delete the article. I have chosen not to do so because I think the group may be notable, though I have not researched it. However, other editors may not agree with me, so it is prudent to improve the article as quickly as possible.

Again, if you have any questions, feel free to leave a message on my talk page. Happy editing! —C.Fred (talk) 04:14, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of United Genders of the Universe

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article United Genders of the Universe, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice?C.Fred (talk) 16:44, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
