Great job editing the female Norwich FC articles

[edit]

I would recommend using Wikipedia:The Wikipedia Library, British Newspaper Archive, EBSCO, Gale (Wikipedia:Gale), ProQuest, and Wikipedia:Newspapers.com, and Wikipedia:Newspaperarchive.com to extract more information regarding Norwich FC female footballers. Thankyou Dwanyewest for all the info and links, I'll spend some time checking them out. Thanks for creating so many pages for the ladies footballers too. Canary757 (talk) 13:21, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

If you wanna cite a book I recommend you use Template:Cite book as a guide if you have to use a journal Template:Cite journal and I would also recommend Wikipedia:Citing sources. Dwanyewest (talk) 22:13, 25 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Any help would be appreciated

[edit]

Any help on Draft:Janet Turner (footballer) would be great. Dwanyewest (talk) 08:12, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I will gladly help, but it may be later this week.Canary757 (talk) 09:44, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I think you are doing a terrific job

[edit]

I really admire how you have improved many of the female footballer articles I was wondering if you think it's worth trying to improve Carrie Staley (English footballer) or trying to undelete Carole Osborne, Kyproulla Loizou and Hilary Carter. If you think the articles I suggested are worthy or saving or undelting I suggest you go to Wikipedia:Requests for undeletion. Dwanyewest (talk) 23:18, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Dwanyewest. I will have a look at all the people you mentioned. I'm going to try and do a couple of Doncaster players in the next week for some variation amongst the clubs. With regards to Janet Turner is it worth considering having a joint page with her twin sister Judith? Judith won a 2nd WFA Cup with Leasowe in the late 80's and seems to have played for Wales after being an uncapped squad player. (cant find much info on Wales women in the 80's) She also still works at St Helens, might make the page more notable given that there is a lack of specific sources directly about them on google? Proving GNG is very reliant on books at the moment. Canary757 (talk) 07:10, 10 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Cleaning up Sekhar Das

[edit]

Thank you for you recent edits on Sekhar Das , it was their in my wishlist and when i stumbled on it today, it was already less peacocky and made for more concise read. Think references are still a problem there, will try to research and add what i find Nisingh.8 (talk) 16:38, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. The 'Theatre days' section is questionable, lots of name dropping without explaining the depth and relevance of these conversations. I was tempted to remove it, but didn't want to overdo it.Canary757 (talk) 17:11, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
