Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes (~~~~)
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to this (your talk) page, and a timestamp.
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put
{{My sandbox}}

First tasks
[edit]Cadupps1, welcome and I'm glad you picked this course to explore your major. Let's talk sometimes about what you would like to do and the best fit for you. You have completed ass the assignment tasks, but you need to tweak your user page. Add some links to Wikipedia articles. I added one for you -- USI. You just put double brackets around the article name. Good Crtew (talk) 17:29, 17 January 2014 (UTC) Done

[edit]1. You had trouble finding the editing ribbon. That is located in the editing box, but you can only see it when you edit a page or a section. It's where you are going to type in information. You'll see a "Cite" at the top and on the right. When you click on site the dynamic ribbon will give you a "Templates" option, which is a pull down box. Pick the right one. "Web" for CPJ, RSF and so on as these are human rights organizations for journalists. And "News" for any journalism site that produces news on a daily basis. Crtew (talk) 01:54, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
2. To find the infobox where you are going to place data about your person, edit your page. Then look at the code that begins "Infobox person" at the top. You'll always place everything after the equals sign. Some give you specific instructions. Like if you provide a person's religion, then you must cite, or the info will be deleted. Much of the info will be repeated in your article and will take a cite there. Crtew (talk) 01:57, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
Feedback
[edit]Hey, thought your article was great, the only things I would work on would be that some of your words could be switched out for more intelligent remarks, such as the word hoodlums, and "gang-land". Also, I would dive a little deeper into his second life of making money. Finally, talk a little more about his family.- Laclarkham
