Speedy deletion of Tinderbox (UK Acoustic Band)

Nomination of Tinderbox (band) for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Tinderbox (band) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

Contesting deletion

This page is factual, fully licensed and provides information on a bonafide musical group that warrant being featured. I have carefully added instructions for the images including details about permissions (which I have carefully sought and confirmed). I am not directly affiliated to the subject of the article but have enjoyed contributing to it on Wikipedia for many years with no apparent issues - until now.

Please advise as to what is required in order to prevent this informative and useful page from being deleted.

Whether or not the page is factual, informative and useful (to whom?) does not enter into the equation if notability is contested. Also the {{hangon}}-template is used to stop a speedy deletion, however, the article is nominated for deletion. You can best make any arguments on the nomination page. Good luck. Thank you Kleuske. This article was always intended to be purely informative and in no way promotional. I don't believe that Wikipedia would ever be a viable promotional platform. I will review the article with you observations in mind.

Hi Kleuske, I have edited the article accordingly and agree that there may have been elements added recently which could possibly be construed as promotional - although please understand that if so it was unintentional. This article was originally created as an informative source and that is the only objective.
