Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Narraweena, New South Wales, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on St Ives Shopping Village requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. BI-LO (Australia)

[edit]

Hi BugMenn, just letting you know I've undone your latest edit to BI-LO (Australia). The claim that BI-LO is defunct (ie, no longer existing or functioning) is premature since BI-LO is still a registered Australian company with two trading stores, as you acknowledge in your edit summary: "pretty much defunct with only 2 stores left". Let's keep it factual until they do close up shop :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Crētus (talkcontribs) 14:58, 15 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Draft:Airbiquity. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be undone.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. AFC decline messages include an instruction that they should not be removed. Perhaps you didn't notice that instruction. Do not remove AFC decline messages. While the draft is in the AFC process, they are a part of its history.

If you didn't notice that instruction, you know now. Do not remove AFC decline templates. When the draft is approved, a script will remove them. Robert McClenon (talk) 16:28, 1 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your move of this draft to mainspace has been reverted. The draft was submitted to AFC by the author, you do not have the right to sabbotage the process. I the edit summary you also falsely posed as a qualified AFC reviewer. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 15:49, 8 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Request for Disclosure

[edit]

What is your connection with Airbuiquity? Your persistence in getting it into article space, such as first by removing a decline template, and then by moving it to article space as if you were a reviewer, very strongly suggests an interest. Please make the conflict of interest disclosure, and, if appropriate, the Paid editing disclosure. (If you say that you are not affiliated with the company but simply think that it should have an article (and have pushed the envelope on proper behavior with the draft but have not bothered to take advantage of multiple opportunities to ask questions), then my own reaction is that that statement is incredible, that is, not deserving of belief by a rational human.) Please make the required disclosure or face possible sanctions. Robert McClenon (talk) 16:19, 8 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Chatswood Chase and Warringah Mall

[edit]
CC is most commonly referred to as Chatswood Chase not Chatswood Chase Sydney in much the same way that Westfield Chatswood is used as opposed to the official Westfield Chatswood Shopping Centre in line with WP:COMMONNAME policy.

Reverts to Top Ryde City and Birkenhead Point Outlet Centre

[edit]

Hello there,

Just like to point out that the reverts you recently made to those pages were made in accordance with the consensus with Wikipedia:WikiProject Shopping Centers/Anchors and tenants (WP:ANC). Listing tenants in a shopping centre article is What Wikipedia is not, in particularly it fails WP:NOTDIRECTORY and WP:NOTGUIDE as Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a shopping guide or directory. The External Links section, which appears at the bottom of articles, is sufficient enough to provide this information to a reader as this would be a consumers first point of call to gain information about particular merchants within a shopping centre.

Furthermore, sections removed also lacked reliable sources (WP:RS) and lacked notability (WP:N). Unsourced or non-notable content may be challenged or removed at any time.

As I have noticed you have been an editor only a short time, please familiarise yourself with the Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines in the future when considering editing content.

Proposed deletion of Jamaica Blue

[edit]

The article Jamaica Blue has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies)

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Edit summary 'clarity' etc

[edit]

Hi BugMenn, thank you for your contributins to Wikipedia (WP).
Though I basically agree with the edit to Dick Smith you made here, an edit summary of "fixed page" is not very helpful to anyone who may wish to review your edits. Please be more clear about what you did.

  • You sometimes fail to give any explanation for your edits, such as here, to Westfield Chatswood, and when reverting another editor's edits here.
  • We are not supposed to "... fixed up page in my own knowledge" (see WP:No original research) or change date formats without good reason as you did here at Westfield Warringah Mall. We also avoid the use of "currently" as it goes out of date quickly, but the use of "As at May 2016," (which you removed) is allowed.
  • Australia related pages generally use day-month-year dates, but (above) you changed a date to month-day-year (US) format.
  • Especially when removing content you need to say why.

Please keep my comments in mind while editing. As you are fairly new to Wikipedia I am only trying to assist you, regards, --220 of Borg 09:16, 25 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Surf Dive N Ski for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Surf Dive N Ski is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Eastwood Shopping Centre, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 20:55, 24 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

December 2017

[edit]

Please stop making disruptive edits, as you did at Chadstone Shopping Centre.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. You are removing a lot of sourced content for Chadstone Shopping Centre and Westfield Southland articles, bypassing the fact that not one but two editors have disputed your edits. Content that is sourced (whether the links are inactive or not, is not a reason to remove the content, see WP:USI) cannot boldly be removed — especially if others disagree. You are now required to discuss the changes you wish to be made on the article's talk page and gain consensus, or cease making those changes. Further, MOS:LEAD does not suggest one reduce an article's lead paragraph/s from multiple sentences (which aim to summarise the article for the reader) -- to a couple sentences, as you have gratuitously called for. In fact, it calls for the exact opposite (a summary of the article). Please stop, discuss what exactly it is you are doing, and we can go on from there. Recent edit reversion

[edit]

In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.

I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.

I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick(Talk) 13:30, 26 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Inappropriate Non-admin closure

[edit]

Don't close AfDs in which you participated and have a conflict of interest, especially when you created the article under discussion, and especially by leaving misleading closure rationales, as you did at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Southgate Shopping Centre (Australia). ----Pontificalibus 11:08, 15 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I just reverted your recreation of Southgate Shopping Centre (Australia). It was substantially the same article the was redirected per editor consensus at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Southgate Shopping Centre (Sylvania). Also, not using an edit summary when overturning an AfD outcome is also troubling. • Gene93k (talk) 17:19, 20 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
