Speedy deletion nomination of Todd Wright (American athlete)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Todd Wright (American athlete) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. I mean, being in the Arkansas football hall of fame is pretty lame, yah. Braking records for a major university athletic program? Not important. For an important wikipedia article, check out the senioritis page.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Speedy deletion nomination of Myrimin
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Myrimin requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit]{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 08:40, 1 January 2016 (UTC)- I've primarily blocked you because of the content on your userpage where you say that you were blocked in the past over edits concerning Kevin Bacon. While you allege that it was because you were trying to combat vandalism, the fact that your old account was blocked makes this a tricky situation. Technically this could be seen as block evasion. It also doesn't help that you created this draft article that contained only the information "/Users/thesonomadude/Downloads/Peace sells paint.jpg /Users/thesonomadude/Downloads/a3010871684_16-2.jpg man fuck this shit." That can be seen as vandalism. What's also not helpful is that your userpage is outright insulting to anyone coming into the page and doesn't really give off the impression that you're here to collaborate when you have "I bring the truths. Those who delete the truths are the enemy." This makes it hard for me to assume that you'd be able to work with someone else if your userpage outright says that you view anyone who contests your pages as an aggressor. So here's what I'll need to know before I'd unblock you:
- What was your prior username? I would like to be able to verify the past edits made by your account. Sometimes people are given blocks they don't deserve, but I would like to verify the reason for your old block.
- What type of edits are you going to make if I unblock you?
- Are you willing to collaborate with others? By this I mean if someone nominates a page for deletion, will you calmly try to explain why the topic is notable and if it's proved otherwise, accept the decision?
- Would you be willing to change your userpage to something less aggressive? It's extremely hard to assume good faith with your userpage and I can guarantee that this will only mark you as a problem editor by pretty much anyone coming into your userspace. This would raise your chances of getting reblocked substantially. It also looks like it was done because you were angry that Diannaa deleted the page for Todd Wright, which also doesn't really reflect well on you.
- If you can answer those satisfactorily and prove that you can interact well with others, I'm willing to unblock you. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 08:52, 1 January 2016 (UTC)

Request reason:
Okay so I got banned for having a cynical page description that was mistaken for serious and "aggressive" by wikipedia admins? I'm only getting "aggressive" now because of these ridiculous accusations that are irrelevant. The internet is full or ironic, neckbeard fedora douchebags who can spill all of their sarcastic assholery onto the web because nobody will see their face, and I get targeted for quoting Teen Titans, an anime you've probably seen before (judging by your username and about me section). You see, I can make loads of unnecessary conjectures based on your username and bio, but that's called making baseless assumptions and I don't know you, therefore I won't make baseless assumptions on you. Don't do the same to me. Don't call me an aggressive person just because I quote anime. I'm sure you're a nice person and you probably understand what I'm saying, but sarcasm is a thing. I am sarcastic, it's just who I am. If people think I'm really that intimidating because I use heavy sarcasm, then that's their fault. I'm a fluffy man with a warm heart, don't run in fear because of my sarcasm!!!! And who cares if I vandalize my own page? Will the cops arrest me for doing whatever I want to my own house? ...maybe, cops do a lot of stupid shit nowadays without reason or hesitation, but it really shouldn't matter if me trying and failing at uploading images to my own personal page is 'vandalizism'. Plus like, what, 3 people will see my user page? It's not like I'm the prom king here or something, I'm just a guy who made two pages that didn't last more than 15 minutes on Wikipedia. Not many people give a shit about my page and I'm willing to bet the amount of people who have seen it can be counted on my left hand. So to answer your questionary: 1. I really don't even remember the name of my original account. I used my friends for a little bit, that was like Freakazoid87 or something along those lines, but I only had mine for a week before I stopped using it. The whole Tremors thing is true, and I'm sure you can pull it up with your admin privileges. Somebody edited it and said Kevin Bacon got a Golden Globe nomination for his role in Tremors, and I stepped in shit by trying to remove it. As much as I love Tremors, the film itself went pretty much unnoticed by award circles and slithered into obscurity. A simple google search will show that Kevin Bacon was not nominated for any awards for his performance as Val McKee in Tremors, but since the fact is no longer present on the website, it means someone got to it after I did. 2. Idk. I really haven't done any trolling, have I? I made a page for a college football legend who went into hiding after his failed NFL career, which is why despite setting league records has only like 1 interview online, and then I made a page for an Icelandic black metal band that has released 4 albums, 2 of which have been reviewed on professional music critique sites. Other than that, my trolling has been really low. 3. awww do i have to? :((((((((((( [that was sarcasm] Fine, that'll be $25 grand :) [also sarcasm] just give me the money! >:D [once again, sarcasm] kiss face emoji I have a questino: what counts as an "important" article? I made an article about an NFL player which got a speedy deletion, and a band who has released albums and actually done stuff (not just a garage band, but like an actual band with albums) and they were both "not seen as important or significant". I mean, what counts as important or significant, and how do I get these pages up again? I assure, these two thing are important. Myrmin isn't a ripped napkin made in 2003 that an Lithuanian kid wiped his cheeto fingers on before throwing it in the trash, it's a band with albums and reviews. I also made that one short; just really basic, to the point, no need for extra citations. I'm just asking this for the future. Thanks br0 may the force be with u and here's this for future reference. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarcasm ;)
Decline reason:
I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information.. If you make another unreadable unblock request, your talk page access will be revoked. OhNoitsJamie Talk 03:04, 4 January 2016 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- One of the fundamental principles on Wikipedia is that you need to be able to work well with others. Your response here doesn't really give off the impression that you can respond to others in a rational, mature manner. As far as sarcasm goes, this is something that doesn't work well on the Internet because it responds very, very heavily on body language, vocal inflections, and facial gestures. What might be meant as sarcasm can be seen as outright hostility by others. Whether or not the articles in question passed notability guidelines or not isn't entirely the point here. What we need to be able to verify is whether or not you can respond to a deletion without getting nasty with the other person, either directly or through passive-aggressive means. So far your comment here has only kind of reinforced that blocking you was pretty much the correct move, as your response here was just to get angry. You claim it's sarcasm, but it comes across strongly like anger. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 14:44, 4 January 2016 (UTC)

yah, no kidding I understand what I have been blocked for. I will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and I will make USEFUL contributions instead. Sorry for being such a neckbeard fedora brony.
Decline reason:
You need a lot more in here to convince us of why we should unblock you. Tell us in your own words why you were blocked, show your understanding of what was inappropriate about that behavior, and give us concrete ideas of what "useful contributions" you will make in the future. only (talk) 21:36, 5 January 2016 (UTC)
