[edit]Hi Bridget2023, I reverted your edits to Ngalda River because they did not seem appropriate for Wikipedia. Phrases such as "A hidden gem" are considered promotion, which is not allowed here. Additionally, you are placing articles in categories that don't make sense, such as putting rivers in Category:Drainage basin succession templates and Category:Third orders. Helpful Raccoon (talk) 18:36, 14 July 2024 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to add promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Bodo River, Gokana, you may be blocked from editing. Again, you are adding irrelevant categories and promotional spam. The picture you added to the article isn't even related to the river. Helpful Raccoon (talk) 19:50, 15 July 2024 (UTC)
- Note that tributary states are unrelated to tributaries. Helpful Raccoon (talk) 19:56, 15 July 2024 (UTC)
- That means I should put tributaries instead of tributary states ? Bridget2023 (talk) 20:00, 15 July 2024 (UTC)
- The Bodo River is not a tributary, and Wikipedia does not have a category for arbitrary tributaries anyways. Helpful Raccoon (talk) 20:05, 15 July 2024 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks for that I understand better now Bridget2023 (talk) 20:07, 15 July 2024 (UTC)
- There is a list category Category:Tributaries_by_river. If you find a river that feeds into another river, you can add it to the appropriate subcategory. But you shouldn't add articles directly to the top-level category. Helpful Raccoon (talk) 20:11, 15 July 2024 (UTC)
