Thanks very much for the note about the JH: Stargazer episodes. I've scoured the Internet trying to find any information on the older episodes. I've also tried contacting the show and haven't made any progress, so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks very much. - Hydroxonium (H3O+) 06:34, 9 February 2011 (UTC)

Stargazers - you beat me to it

Hi Brian, long time no see. How have you been? I just saw that you beat me to the Star Gazers article. I saw the new show/website stuff at the end of the episode a few days ago. I was going to add some updates, but you beat me to it. Anyhoo, I just stopped by to say thanks for adding the stuff about the new website and new host. Thanks very much. - Hydroxonium (TCV) 02:53, 16 September 2011 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Donna Lass requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you can assert the importance of the subject, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

See the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. Prodego talk 01:17, 25 December 2011 (UTC)

Hello, Brianhass, and thank you for your contributions!

Some text in an article that you worked on Star Gazers (2013 season), appears to be directly copied from another Wikipedia article, Star Gazers (2012 season). Please take a minute to double-check that you've properly attributed the source text in your edit summary.

It's entirely possible that this bot made a mistake, so please feel free to remove this notice and the tag it placed on Star Gazers (2013 season) at any time. MadmanBot (talk) 04:04, 6 May 2013 (UTC)

The bot definitely made a mistake. The 2012 and 2013 pages for the episode listings of Star Gazers do have similarities in certain areas but are not identical or redundant. Brianhass (talk) 08:55, 14 May 2013 (UTC)

Photo request

Do you take and upload pictures? At the National Register of Historic Places wikiproject, we maintain lists of historic sites for every county in the country, and we try to get as many pictures as possible, but we sorely need help in South Dakota — if you go to Wikipedia:WikiProject National Register of Historic Places/Progress, you'll see that South Dakota has the second lowest ratio of photos to sites for any state nationwide. We have slightly better coverage of the southeastern part of the state, but we're still really weak there. Anything you can contribute would be greatly appreciated. Nyttend (talk) 23:56, 13 June 2013 (UTC)

I happen to reside in the southeastern part of the state (which is unfortunate for your project). However, if I should ever travel outside of my local area, I might try snapping a photo or two for the project. I can't promise anything in the near future because of my work schedule; but, I would like to do some traveling related to my genealogy research.Brianhass (talk) 10:23, 14 June 2013 (UTC)
Thanks! I specifically mentioned the southeast because I saw that you lived there, but as I said, we're still really weak: there are still several southeastern counties with no photos, and most have just a few. The only reason the southeast is better than elsewhere is that most of the state (including basically the entire northeastern corner, as well as every county on the North Dakota line) has nothing at all; it's not that we're missing one or two southeastern photos. Nyttend (talk) 15:35, 14 June 2013 (UTC)
Nyttend, I just clicked on the page you linked into your message above. I saw that quite a few of the sites are in Union County, where I live. I will seriously look into photographing some of those places for your project. Right now, I'm a bit heavy on hours at work after a coworker recently quit; but as soon as my work load lightens up, I wouldn't mind snapping at least a couple of the photos of places on your list. Three of the places are right here in my town of Beresford. The Railroad Depot (on the list) is now housing a restaurant called the Dark Horse Cafe. I should mention that I have never uploaded photographs to Wikipedia before. Is it a simple process? I've read that there are two places to do it (one of the places allows Wikipedias of all languages to access the photos).Brianhass (talk) 09:24, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
