Speedy deletion nomination of Keeping Up With The Kandasamys
[edit]Hello Brently Perumal,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Keeping Up With The Kandasamys for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Speedy deletion nomination of Glow TV (TV Channel)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Glow TV (TV Channel), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. reddogsix (talk) 00:11, 23 September 2017 (UTC)
- Regarding Speedy Deletion
- Hello, Brently Perumal. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia.
- I'm sorry, but this has been deleted as meeting WP:CSD#G11. "This applies to pages that are exclusively promotional and would need to be fundamentally rewritten to conform with Wikipedia:NOTFORPROMOTION." These must be rewritten from scratch from "reliable, third party sources unconnected to the subject." See WP:RS. For more information on my criteria for deleting under G11, click User:Dlohcierekim/promo
- Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources providing verifiable information. That generally means someone unconnected with the subject needs to have written a great deal about the subject. Please see Wikipedia:Citing sources . Template:cite has templates you can use in citing your sources. Place the template {{references}} at the bottom of the page, and references cited in the text will appear there.
- Any deficiencies should be remedied before reposting as they can lead to repeated deletions.
- Wikipedia is not a webhost. You may wish to consider alternative outlets.
- If you want to try again, please use the Article Wizard to guide you through the creation process.
- You may find this tool useful: Google custom search --Dlohcierekim (talk) 02:02, 23 September 2017 (UTC)
Hi there, re: this edit, cast members don't suddenly become of no academic interest simply because they've left a TV series. Per WP:TVCAST, emphasis mine: "The cast listing should be ordered according to the original broadcast credits, with new cast members being added to the end of the list. Articles should reflect the entire history of a series, and as such actors remain on the list even after their departure from the series.
So stuffing cast members into a discard "former cast" pile is not consistent with community standards. If you plan to edit TV articles, you should familiarise yourself with our entire Manual of Style, as this represents widespread community preference. Deviations from these guidelines require establishment of local consensus. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:31, 23 September 2017 (UTC)

Hello Brently Perumal. I have removed a section of this article, as it appears that it was copied from another website, perhaps this one. I hope that this is not too upsetting for you; may i suggest that you read this section of our helpful pages, as it explains about copying and paraphrasing and attribution.
I notice that several people have, higher up this talk page, given you what appears to be a rough welcome; i hope, again, that this is not annoying or upsetting. The fact is that Wikipedia can be difficult to get into, but editing it is very satisfying and well worth learning the ways around. Though it may not seem so, the vast majority of the community is actually friendly and happy to help. So, please ask, if i can help in any way. Happy days, LindsayHello 09:22, 30 September 2017 (UTC)
Dubs
[edit]Please don't create articles about dubs of TV series as you did at Love Oh Love (TV Series). There's nothing inherently notable about a dub. At best, creating a WP:REDIRECT to Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (TV series) might have been appropriate, but "series" should have been lowercase in your title. So that would have needed to be fixed as well. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:35, 20 October 2017 (UTC)
The article Zee Bollymovies has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails GNG
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. South Nashua (talk) 17:45, 5 December 2017 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for January 8
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of most-subscribed YouTube channels, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages English and Spanish (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:19, 8 January 2018 (UTC)
Material you included in the above article appears to have been copied from the copyright web page https://www.tvsa.co.za/channels/viewchannel.aspx?channelid=118. Copying text directly from a source is a copyright violation. Unfortunately, for copyright reasons, the content had to be removed. Please leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions or if you think I made a mistake. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 15:07, 22 January 2018 (UTC)
This is your only warning; if you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising again, as you did at E!, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You were already warned once regarding copying the logline from the network's website, and we will not tolerate this at all. And consider the same on Zee World, because I have reverted your additions which have taken the article in a direction where it's more an advertisement for the network. That, and the note declaring you are an editor for TVSA means that any further additions of this site within your edits will be reverted on sight as advertising. I have also broached my concerns with your editing with the editor who warned you last week. Nate • (chatter) 17:37, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
If the copyright holder and wishes to release this material under a conmpatible license, please see WP:Donating copyrighted materials for an explanation of how to do it. There's a sample permission email at WP:Consent. In the meantime, please do not re-add this content. As it stands it's a copyright violation. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:00, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Brently Perumal. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the article E!, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. Editing for the purpose of advertising or promotion is not permitted. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID). Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 19:58, 31 January 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Your addition to Zee World has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. All such contributions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. This is your final warning. Further copyright violations will result in you being blocked from editing. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:10, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
- This is your final warning. What Diannaa told you above applies to this last edit; we don’t accept copyrighted material, or programming schedules per WP:NOTTVGUIDE. You haven’t had scrutiny because admittedly, a South African-Indian network is a low priority and you have been able to shape the article to your own narrative. That’s done now. Stop violating copyright, loading articles with cruft, and edit properly, or face a block. Nate • (chatter) 17:47, 5 February 2018 (UTC)
Hello, Brently Perumal. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Jailoshini Naidoo, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Jailoshini Naidoo to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.
If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.
Thanks,

DStv Channels moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, DStv Channels, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Non-free rationale for File:Kandasamy The Wedding.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Kandasamy The Wedding.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 24 April 2019 (UTC)
