Request reason:

I would like to inform you that the information which I have provided you doesn’t include any promotional text. I have tried my best to keep it to the point and have only added the facts in it. Any line or text doesn’t promote or market any services related to me and the complete content only contains the details which are true. Like, my schooling and other places mentioned are actually the places, where I was brought up and where I currently stay. I haven’t written the text in a promotional tone and nothing mentioned here is false or fake. Kindly consider my request and check the content, I hope you’d be satisfied with the information and would be able to verify all that I have mentioned here. I will be obliged to you if you can unblock my account so that I can contribute on Wikipedia pages.

Decline reason:

Using Wikipedia to write about yourself is considered promotional activity. Wikipedia user pages are for saying a little about yourself in relation to your Wikipedia activities, not for writing your résumé/CV. If you ever don't understand why a page has been deleted, you should ask the admin who deleted it rather than repeatedly recreate it. If you make a new unblock request, I suggest you focus on how you plan to help us build the encyclopedia rather than writing about yourself. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

@MER-C: I have completely understood your point and I’ll only keep the brief and necessary information about me. I have created the account to help the Wikipedia to build the encyclopedia. Please let me know what I need to do in order to unblock my account, so that, I can give my best contribution.

You'll need to be more specific as to what you want to contribute. I suggest you file another unblock request with those details. MER-C 16:59, 23 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

We want to create a Wikipedia page, like any other person or place that has one. Wikipedia is designed to be an encyclopedia, so we want to be able to let people know everything about me... who I am and what are my likes, from my early childhood to my family and current career! Letting them know all aspects of me, which is the definition of encyclopedia! If something in our page/content/message is not doing that, than please let us know and happy to change and/or remove!

Decline reason:

We've already told you that's inappropriate. You seem to be confused about encyclopedias and about Wikipedia in general. Please read and understand the following policies: WP:NOT, WP:COI, WP:PROMO, WP:AUTOBIO, WP:NOTE. Also, please understand we don't permit shared accounts here. You keep on saying "we"; accounts must be fully controlled by a single person only. Yamla (talk) 11:40, 27 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • You say "a Wikipedia page, like any other person or place that has one". But, like other encyclopedias, Wikipedia is not a listing of everyone who has ever lived, and it is not one of the social media sites like Facebook etc which are intended for anyone who wishes to tell the world about themselves. Wikipedia only hosts articles about individuals who meet certain notability standards, as explained at WP:Notability. Specific notability guidelines for people are provided at Wikipedia:Notability (people). I've already explained what user pages are for, and you can find more at WP:User pages.
